The Space

Almanii B&B is a family run B&B in Dublin City. We have 4 rooms available. These are twins or doubles. either sharing or single occupancy. We can also accommodate groups of up to 11. As this is our home you get to experience a liitle bit of what it;s like in an Irish home, it is personal and we offer a wide range of facilities free of charge at the B&B. WiFi, tea/coffee, parking and we can also organize personalized walking trips of Dublin city for those who are interested. All rooms are ensuite, flat screen TV's, rooms serviced each day and light breakfast is included. Delicious home cooked breakfasts from our menu are available at an additional cost of €5.00 euro per person if you would like to avail of this option.

We are ideally situated between Dublin Airport and the City Centre with easy access by public transport to both. We invite you to experience staying in a traditional Irish home :-)

Dublin City University (DCU) , The HELIX, St. Pats Teaching College, Morton Stadium, Croke Park, Beaumont & Mater Hospitals & Omni Shopping Centre are all within 10 minutes of the B&B. There is a launderette across the street and some beautiful local parks to wander around.

Dublin is a city that everyone raves about. Displaced locals get all misty-eyed about the pubs, the craic, the hilarious, friendly people they left behind.

So make a detour down that side street, spend a few hours trailing through the parks and gardens, take your time in the museums, talk to people in the pubs, watch a hurling match, ride the DART out of town to Howth, Dalkey and Malahide, catch a play, or just sit on the Liffey boardwalk and let it all pass you by.

Whatever you decide to do, you can rest assured that at least one of the clichés about this city really is true: Dublin genuinely does have something for everyone.

Check In
  • My family and I stay at Mary´s b&b couple nights and it was very pleasant and relax experience. She (email hidden) kind and warm, and her B&B is impeccable clean and nicely decorate. Great water pressure on the shower and good breakfast. However the space for three people in one room was a little tie but we manage okay for two nights. Location is a far distance to the center of Dublin but very well communicate by bus transportation almost in front of the B&B every 10 minutes. Mary is a very nice lady that help us to have a good experience and we felt very welcome.

  • Clean, comfortable room and Mary was absolutely lovely. She went out of her way to help us print our boarding passes for our flight from Dublin and provided a nice continental breakfast in the mornings.

Only downside was the noise level in the BnB. Our room was close to the front door and there was a family staying at the same time with children so mornings and nights could be quite loud. Also, it would be great if the wifi reached the rooms rather than having to go to the dining room.

Overall though, it was a great stay and easy to catch a bus into the centre of town.

  • Warm clean and comfortable room only a short bus ride from central Dublin. Breakfast was lovely. I would recommend Mary's hospitality.

  • We stayed 2 nights at Mary's B&B, and were very pleased with everything. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was abundant, and overall we had a very good time in Dublin.

    Thanks again!

  • Mary's Almanii B&B in Dublin was more than expected! Very inviting clean room with ahhhh comfortable beds and nice shower ! Breakfast was delicious. Mary's welcoming spirit and information about her "city" definately has made Dublin a warm memory! Busline is a stone's throw away and close to airport and city center!
Thanks again for such a pleasurable experience!

  • Mary was a very accommodating and wonderful host. The location is perfect for the bus in and out of the city. Very clean and cozy.

  • I had a very pleasant stay and I can highly recommend this BnB. My stay became longer than expected due to work reason, but it was never any problem

    February 2013
  • Mary is a wonderful hostess and a very easy-going person! I had to extend my stay because I haven't found an apartment during the first week and I have to say, at the end, I didn't want to leave! It is definitely one of the best choices for a bnb in Dublin. Super-clean, very near to a bus stop (so easy access to city center), all the facilities you are going to need (supermarket, laundry, pub, cinema, take-out food) also very near. You should definitely try her wonderful Irish breakfast.
In general, you won't regret it if you choose almanii for your stay, as Mary will make it a breeze! I couldn't imagine a better value for money place.

  • Mary (email hidden), excellent advice about getting around and places to eat. Her place is on several bus routes which made it easy to get to/from the airport and the city. The room was clean, quiet and cosy and breakfast was great. We hope to stay again.

Hi there ! Well I introduce myself to lots of new people every day as I run a Bed and Breakfast in Dublin City. It keeps me very busy and I live here with my family and my wee dog :-). I get to meet people from all over the world and love exchanging stories and tit bits of info with those who wish to chat. In my spare time I like to keep fit, I teach self defence to adults and children which I love doing. So as you can see everything I do is based around people.....good job I like them :-). I enjoy a nice meal and cinema and love the outdoors. There are lots of nice places in Dublin city and the surrounding area where you can spend the day walking and exploring. Some lovely beaches too. My favorite walk is probably Howth head which (email hidden) village just on the outskirts of Dublin city - you can feed the seals here and enjoy the beautiful walk around Howth head. So that's a little about me. I would like to welcome you into my home and hope you enjoy your stay with us. Dublin is a fantastic city to visit :-)
