Lovely room, quiet, really easy to get to from the station and the breakfast basket is great!
Wij hebben een fantacties weekend gehad een leuke lokatie en een leuke b&b schoon en gezellig.
Very nice accomodation, warm, clean and comfortable. Althought it is very close to the noisy red light district streets we were not at all disturbed by any noise at night (but it was winter so the windows were closed). We felt safe in this house which is well located to visit Amsterdam and not far from the train station. It was also nice to be independant with the private entrance. David is a lovely host. We'd recommand the place to friends and would be happy to stay at David´s home again should we return to Amsterdam !
perfect place for a short trip to amsterdam! room was exactly as shown in the pictures. perfectly located!
We had a great stay at David's place. It had amazing value for money and was in the best location possible. David was very friendly and helpful with us, making our stay as good as possible.
David welcomed us warmly and was very helpful in offering info about getting round the area. The room was exactly as shown in the picture : clean, beautifully designed and since we visited in November, the in-built heater kept us warm! The breakfast box provided was very good too.. His accommodation is perfectly located from all the sights and shopping streets - you will make no mistake picking this Bnb! The room is well kept and it is as good as staying at any hotel - we only wished he had a twin bed arrangement option - other than that, zero complaints!
David and his Family were very friendly and helpful! The room was very clean, quiet and had a wonderful view! I would recommend everyone! Perfect Host and perfect room!
A lovely apartment close to everything. David was a very nice host, who provided us with information and maps to see the main sights in Amsterdam. The view was very pleasant from the room an the breakfast also very nice.
Well in the middle of Amsterdam, we could enjoy a wonderful staying at David Sheik´s house.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay with David in Amsterdam. His apartment was perfect! It was only a 10 minute walk from the Amsterdam Central train station. It is centrally located and easy to walk to any where you want in the city. The room and bathroom were meticulously cleaned. The room has big beautiful windows and overlooks the canal. It is also above a very good restaurant (Olivars) and a 2 minute walk to any cafe, bar, or restaurant you could want. David was wonderful pleasant to deal with - he was flexible with our arrival time and he allowed us to leave our bags in the room after we checked out while we did some more sightseeing until we caught our train. He brought us fresh breakfast in the morning (juice, milk, meat, cheese, cereal, eggs, and breads with jam). One small thing I would mention to other guests is that it may get a bit noisy at night/on weekends because of the great location. You may not be able to keep the windows open all night. This shouldn't be a problem as there are fans in the room. We stayed in late September 2013, so we kept the windows closed (they are very good windows and block out the sound). However, if you did like fresh air while you slept, you may want to turn the fans on, or bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. If we ever come back to Amsterdam, we will be staying here again! Thanks David!
