Interaction with Guests
Lots of interaction if you'd like. I love the neighborhood and can let you know all of the cool places that only locals know!
Williamsburg is the center of the NYC creative community, therefore the neighborhood is young and Safe day or night 24 hours. The train also runs 24 hours and my apartment is a 5-8 min walk to a subway. It is one stop away from Manhattan so you will be able to get around the city fast. There lots of restaurant, coffee shops, vintage shops, bars, art and music exhibition all around my apartment. Traveling will be perfectly fine as I host often it would be my pleasure to show you around a some local places if you'd like.
Public transit is fast. J M train is 5 min away and it is one stop to manhattan. L train at Bedford stop is 6 min away and that is one stop to Manhattan. Williamsburg bridge is 3 blocks away. It takes 20 min to time square. 15 min to union square. 5 min to lower east side. 20 min to Wall Street and 15 min to soho.

Keep it quiet at night.
We didn't really feel welcome, seems rather just like a business for Nathaniel. Room was tiny with nothing in it, not even a table or chair. Bathrooms we're dirty and not cleaned once in 5 days. Sorry, but not recommended.
We stayed at Nathaniel's place for two nights. His place is more like a BnB with several rooms for accommodation rather than a private home, but it still was a perfect place to begin our trip in NYC. The place is quite central in Williamsburg so it was close to bars, restaurants, flea markets, shops, laundromats and delis. Nathaniel was a great host and always up for a chat which was nice. The place was nice and modern, and we stayed in the front room which was right next to the entrance of building and the apartment and the walls are quite thin so we could hear all movements throughout the day. It didn't bother us too much, but noise is an issue I suggest earplugs. Overall it was a great stay, and I would stay at Nathaniel's again on our next stay in NYC.
Nice place. When he was around, Nathaniel was nice. I liked that there was a lock on the closet door to safeguard items, even though it’s just Williamsburg. Mattress is a box spring(at least in my room) but for ~$60/night, you get what you pay for. Fellow AirBnB-ers were also polite whenever I saw them in the living area/kitchen space. I couldn’t access the 5G wi-fi for some reason, but was able to connect to the non-G5 network. Great distance from the L train into Manhattan. Had tons of fun in NYC and look forward to going back again sometime!
Cute and clean place. Felt like staying with good friends, and was super affordable. Nathaniel is sooo nice and very laid back, which made the experience that much more comfortable (this was my first time trying AirBnB). I shared a bed with my friend, and found the situation comfy and cozy. A space heater was provided for the extra cold nights. There weren't many others staying while we were there, but I did get to chat a bit with Nathaniel and another guest, and it was a great energy to be around! The neighborhood is cute, and there are plenty of conveniences very nearby (had my laundry done for $7 across the street after several tiring days of work and travel. Woop!). Walking down Bedford you'll find plenty of cool bars, lounges, restaurants and shops. I'm hoping to stay again during the warmer months so I can explore the area more!
The communication has been really easy and smooth before our arrival.
When we were in the appartment in the same time, Nathaniel has always took time to answer our questions or make some recommandation.
The appartment is warm and cosy, very clean too. Very well located, one subway station away from Manhattan and in very lively neighborhood with lots of bars, restaurants and cute boutiques.
I highly recommand that place !
L'appartement de Nathaniel est vraiment un endroit parfait pour découvrir New-York. Il est très bien placé, le quartier est vraiment sympa. Vous serez très bien accueillis !
