We have created the perfect retreat to relax, recharge, play, create & dream. The space
At The Landers Hideaway, we've made sure to create a modern, desert-inspired lush space where you and your friends/family can come to and escape.

Situated on 2.5 acres, The Landers Hideaway is the ultimate getaway. The main patio is covered from the desert sun during the day, fire pit, hot tub, 8ft. soaking tub (Seasonal), outdoor seating and dining areas, and hammock ring for exclusive Stargazing.

The living room invites travelers to relax on the comfortable sectional sofa with wide chaise. Watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen Smart TV when you're not too mesmerized by the desert landscape.

Sync your favorite playlist to the sound bar and prepare dinner. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals you and your travel companions will love. Gather around the dining table set for 4 and savor your culinary creations!

Sit and relax as you wait for the beautiful sunrise or sunset on the East or South facing patio! Enjoy the 4-person hammock rig as you take a lazy afternoon nap or gaze up at the star-studded sky. The unobstructed views of the stars will surely take your breath away! Roast marshmallows over the fire pit and play an exciting game of horseshoes.

Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in either of the bedrooms offering a queen bed in both bedrooms. You can also rest and relax on the big sofa.

*NOTE: Your safety matters. There is a Ring doorbell security camera, located next to the front door facing out. It does not look into any interior spaces*

Guest access
Guests have access to the private home and the fenced 2 acres of desert land. Dirt road access.

Other things to note
Only 15 miles from the town of Joshua Tree and 10 miles from the heart of Yucca Valley, it’s a scenic 30-minute drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.

Desert nights can get chilly (yes, even during the spring/summer months!) , be sure to bring some warm clothing!

The garage is currently closed to guests.

Hot tub and Stock tank: The hot tub and stock tank is to be utilized at your own risk. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the hot tub or stock tank without guardian supervision. It is advised that children 6 years old and younger do not use the hot tub. We leave the cover on the stock tank to keep the water temp and the insects out overnight.

Spring and summer brings out the desert critters. Please be vigilant for snakes (possible, but very rare) and keep the front door closed to insects. There is a can of Raid under the kitchen sink if needed.
