The Space

Ridicuously spacious lower half of house/suite can sleep up to 5-6 people. (1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 1 portable bed) An entire lower half of house with separate entrance available for short term rent. An ability to prepare small meals with kitchen amenities and access to propane bbq outside. Roomy and spacious, clean and plenty of living space. Backyard in summer includes use of gazebo, BBQ and parking.
Additional bed available for guests. host must be pre-approving all additional guests at any point during your stay. (Sorry I do not provide short-term storage for guest household possessions- regular luggage welcome!)
Please contact me to make any special arrangements, enquiries, etc. Certain longer term rentals will be considered, but not to exceed 3 mos.

Guest Access

Wireless internet, small fridge, toaster, stove/oven, kettle, coffee maker (Keurig) BBQ access, microwave, parking, gazebo, full bathroom including tub, tv,telephone. Driveway and street parking available. Off-leash dog park next door. Access to main bike paths and park system less than 1 block away. Gorgeous french bakery only blocks away. 7km to downtown core, possible to bicycle to downtown on approved bike lanes down 10th street.

Interaction with Guests

I will be present and available for any concerns, and to interact as much as guest is comfortable.

The Neighborhood

Big trees, well established older Calgary neighbourhood considered inner-city due to its proxy to downtown. Walking distance to major supermarkets, liquor store, gas station and drug store.Beautiful french bakery and cafe less than 1km away (Elcaire de Lune) and pizza places, car wash, transit nearby.

Getting Around

Bus stop less than 1 block from my house. Live within blocks of the outer boundary of Car-to-Go service available in Calgary.

Other Things to Note

There is a cat dwelling upstairs who does not enter this living space. Shared laundry facilities in lower half of house.
