Giovanni and Raphiella met us on arrival and showed us to the property. They were very enthusiastic and gave is a lot of information on places to eat and beaches to visit. We took their advice and visited most of these. Giovanni also offered to arrange car hire for us but in the end we did it ourselves. Communication before arrival was good. We had some issues when we arrived as I had not updated my new mobile phone details on Air B&B and Takis who I had messaged was not available when we arrived. However it did not matter in the end and we sorted it all out. We met Takis when we departed. We were able to stay at the property until just before our ferry left which was a bonus. The property is very historic and very quirky. There are a lot of stairs involved and it took a few days to get our systems in place so we were not up and down them constantly. The top floor bedroom is large and has good air conditioning. It was the best place for light as much of the house can be a bit dark unless you want to open up the windows and shutters. We did use one of the middle floor bedrooms which could be a bit warm and stuffy but there was a very good (and quiet) floor standing fan. The kitchen is extremely quirky but it is functional. We did not cook in the property. We found the middle floor bathroom the best one to use as the shower was very good. Although as with the rest of the house it has an interesting layout. The roof terrace is reached through some tricky metal steps on the outside of the building. We had a system of carrying anything up there in plastic bags to keep our hands free. In the day time it was too hot up there and in September there is an issue with wasps (everywhere). However after 6pm it was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view. Although it is in the middle of the town it is very quiet except for the occasional passing motorbikes in the next street. It is also not too far up the hill so for people with reasonable mobility it is not too difficult to access. Skopelos is a very peaceful place and was a good combination with Skiathos. You can explore everywhere in 2 days if you have a car. The trip to Ag Ioannis chapel (Mamma Mia chapel) is spectacular and not for the faint hearted driver. We also used the bus and did a boat trip. Our favorite beach was Panormos which we visited twice and where we saw our only sunset of the trip (it goes down behind the hills normally). Stafilos beach was also nice but it was incredibly hot. Best lunch was in Agnontas overlooking the bay (middle taverna). Favorite restaurant in Skopelos town was Alexander but...

Excellent location close to everything with magnificent view from the roof top. You can cook BBQ there. We went 2 couples and had a marvellous time with plenty of space and lots to see and enjoy. We recommand the place without any hesitation.

Charming house in the middle of the old town! Felt like living as real Greecs! Well equiped with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Takis met us at the ferry and followed us to the house. He was really nice and pleasant. As our ferry did not leave until 430 pm, they let us keep the house until 4pm! Perfect:) We will be back.

An old traditional greek house with charm, right in the sentre of the old town. The host is really serviceminded, thoug we did not get the babybed and babychair as promised. The house could have been a bit cleaner and the bedrooms in the second floor gets warm at night.

Giovanni's home is the most interesting place we have ever stayed in. The view from the balcony is better in person than in the pictures. The location is a quick walk to the port where you'll find most of the restaurants and buses that go to the beaches. We enjoyed our week-long stay, and we wish that we could go back already.

This traditional stone home is simply gorgeous, with a spacious top floor bedroom and en suite bathroom, and access to a lovely 360 degree view roof top terrace. The second floor has two nice bedrooms and a bathroom and the first floor was a wonderful hanging out spot with stone floors, a quirky but very functional kitchen and a large dining room table where we ate many meals. Since my son is a geologist, we loved the many collections of rocks that we found all over the house and we added to the collection with pretty rocks we found ourselves. Location is excellent, easy walk to the town, bars, ferry, grocery. Overall it was a fantastic stay. Thank you Giovanni and thanks to Blanche for picking us up at the ferry.
