The Space

Bordemundo is an absolutely unique Bed and Breakfast. We offer a 4 hectare estate for our guests to access and explore with a "private" beach access. We serve a great breakfast consisting of organically and self-grown fruits, honey and eggs. The rest we get from local farmers - our coffee is organic, too - DELICIOUS. We serve breakfast either on your room, on an amazing outdoor spot with lake- and volcano-view. All our rooms offer: a stunning view, fully equipped American kitchens, clean bath rooms with toilet and shower, huge windows, much light, Satellite Tv and Wi fi internet. We also have good deals without breakfast.
Our lands have forestal areas, meadows, animals, plants and flowers. You are welcome to use a hidden hammock in the trees or hang out in the land. The cabañas are 30 seconds away from the LLanquihue shoreline. Bordemundo is an incredible place to stay at and a lifetime experience. Despite, we are minutes away from the Puerto Varas town center. We can arange airport transfer. There is plenty more to say but we leave that out to surprise you at our doorstep.

  • Javiera was a fantastic host, and even helped me with booking a few tours and taxis. The breakfast was delicious, the lake views gorgeous, and the rustic cabin was delightful. Definitely recommended!

  • beautiful setting. cabin had everything our family needed for a peaceful retreat. my favorite moment was walking down to the beach with the sun on the water and the volcano standing majestically guarding the lake. Javiera was a helpful hostess

  • It was a wonderful stay! I highly recommend it to everyone. The place is beautiful and you feel so peaceful out there but still close enough to enjoy the town of Puerto Varas. Javiera was great and so helpful. She would come in and help us start the fire and then she brought us the best breakfast we had on our trip. I would not want to stay anywhere else. Its right by the lake and you can see volcanoes from your window, it was a great time!

  • My daughter and I spent six days in Javiera's comfortable, cosy and well equipped two bedroomed cabaña - this was my first visit to Chile. Our stay was idyllic - the location by the lake is beautiful and we were looked after with great kindness by Javiera who brought us delicious and generous breakfasts. We were lucky enough to be able to choose from her dinner menu and enjoy a wonderful variety of home cooked Chilean dishes in our cabin. The Chilean seafood paella will never be forgotten. The weather in this part of Chile is changeable and can be wet - which is why it the landscape is so green - but we never tired of walking by the lake, sometimes accompanied by one of Javiera's lovely dogs, and enjoying the wood burning stove which Javiera keeps plentifully supplied. Our grateful thanks to Javiera for making my first experience of Chile so memorable and providing an abiding impression of warm Chilean hospitality.

  • Javiera offers a wonderful Chilean experience. Our family of 5 adults shared one cabaña for 2 nights. We had plenty of space to move about and store our gear. Bathroom & kitchen are smallish, but if you think "cabaña", as we did, you will find this place quite charming. Kitchen had all you might need. I didn't find a microwave, but was thrilled to find a cappuccino machine that worked great -- best coffee I had in weeks! Also, wifi was fantastic -- best connection we had during our travels. Great opportunity for the 5 of us to catch up on keeping in touch with back home. Location was perfect in our opinion -- far enough from town to feel like you are getting away from the touristy feel, yet close enough that you can quickly get in for groceries, dining, etc. (we had a car).
Waking up to the breathtaking view of snow-capped Orsono out our large bedroom window was a highlight, as was the short walk to the private beach. Tranquil, beautiful, rustic best describe.
Most appreciated was Javiera's sweet, helpful presence. She offered fantastic suggestions about how to spend our time. She had offered us a "no-breakfast" option to save us some money, so we can't rave about breakfast as others did(our choice). In spite of that, however, we came home from a long first day of driving up & hiking Orsono, visiting the nearby waterfall, and driving the circular route along the Fjords (4x4 helps) south to Caleta Puelche (spectacular! be sure to stop in Cochamó for lunch -- best seafood we had, fantastic restaurant in the middle of absolute nowhere called LaOllita, right on the main road), across the ferry to Caleta La Arena returning through Puerto Montt & came home weary & hungry to welcome surprise of a loaf of fresh baked bread, a plate of fantastic cookies, & a bottle of wine -- all left by sweet Javiera. She is a thoughtful hostess and we feel fortunate that she was willing to share her peaceful space with us.

  • Javiera was a fantastic host, we had a wonderful time in her beautiful cabin. It was such a calm, tranquil place- we greatly enjoyed walking down to the the lake, and the walk into town. Javiera's breakfast were beyond belief! We hardly found room to eat anything more the whole time! Javiera went beyond her duties as a host, and made us feel particularly welcome in her beautiful surroundings. We highly, highly recommend Javiera and her gorgeous bnb.

  • Had a great time at the cabin. Very rustic. Amazing views. The private beach is an added bonus. Also, great location to enjoy what Lago Llanquihue has to offer. At the same time, very close to Puerto Varas if you choose to enjoy what the town has to offer. And of course, Javiera is the most amazing host!

  • Javiera with her groom were amazing hosts and so helpful and friendly to us! Excellent location, very close to Puerto Varas but you can hear only sounds of nature. Private beach and beautiful grounds around. Javiera's cabaña was excellent, really large and clean.
    Definitely recommend this place.

I love Nature and animals, and think that everyday is a blessing, specially with this view! i look forward meeting new people and making new friends, that's why being a host is so rewarding to me. I put my heart in my land and hope to share it with the world. My personal interests are Music, Languages,Traveling, Gardening, Permaculture and Cooking, by the way, i'm a former Chef, therefore i put all my skills on the breakfast to pamper my guests.
