About this listing
This large two double bedroom apartment is in the heart of San Francisco, you are one block from Grace Cathedral, and a short walk to North Beach, and downtown. You can get downtown in 10 minutes on foot! It's great for conference goers and tourism!
My apartment is vacant while I'm traveling, so you should take it!
It's a great apartment, with two large double beds, ample closet space, kitchen, comfortable lounge with couch, and separate eating area (I will be updating the pictures asap to show the lounge and dining area - Nov. 2015!). I keep it as clean as possible, but please bare in mind the building has character, it's from the 19th century.
It's a large apartment in the ideal neighborhood to visit and get work done in San Francisco, you are a 10 minute walk from downtown, and a 5 minute taxi ride.
It's also suitable for conference goers, who need somewhere within easy reach of Moscone and SoMa.
There is wifi and access to all regular amenities, desks if you are here to work, numerous chairs, and a spacious lounge area.
Nearby are two supermarkets: Trader Joes and Le Beau Market.
Cross streets are: Sacramento and Leavenworth. The 27 bus stops there, which comes from downtown, there is also a bus that leaves from Hyde and California (1 block down) which will take you downtown ($2.25 single ride // monthly pass info ($70): (website hidden))
You are within a stones throw of the cable car, that will take you to downtown San Francisco. Or you can walk, with this weather!
My colleague Seb will look after your check-in and check-out so if you should require anything please let us know.
The building has real character, and is a period carriage house. The layout is perfect for colleagues who are traveling together, as the two bedrooms are at opposite sides of the apartment giving you both privacy. It could also work for two couples traveling together, and would be far more private than a hotel; with your own kitchen, eating area, and lounge area.
I'm originally British, I've been living on and off in SF for 8 years and I know the city very well, so if you are looking for tips or any general advice don't be afraid to ask!
You have access to the entire apartment. I'll give you two sets of keys.
Interaction with Guests
If you need any suggestions or recommendations, please don't hesitate to contact me! I've lived in San Francisco for over 8 years, and know the area very well.
Nob Hill has everything: great bars, shopping, restaurants, public transportation.
Le Beau deli up the hill has excellent sandwiches and groceries. There is also a trader joe's on California and Hyde, which is 1 block away. You'll find bars on Polk and California. Good restaurants are abundant so ask me for some recommendations.
There is a bus stop across the street (27), and the cable car stops at the intersection of Leavenworth and California, it will get you into downtown.
You can also use uber, of course! It's $6-8 into downtown, and about the same to the Moscone Center. If you use UberPOOL it can often be more like $5.
Other Things to Note

I am happy to provide two sets of keys, if you will be traveling as a group, please just let me know.
