Located right near the Hong Kong University with easy access to the Central and Admiralty MTR stations as well as the IFC and Macau ferry, this apartment is in a very quiet location and accommodates up to 5 people. Flat is just behind the Ramada Inn Hotel, which is a busy and tourist type area with easy access to transportation.
There are restaurants, shops, banks, hair salons and so many interesting things to do right in the area, such as walk around to view the markets, shop for clothing, or electronics and so much more.
Perfect location for out of towners looking to doing some great shopping in a very shopper friendly, convenient area of Hong Kong or students taking classes at HKU.
The trams, buses, taxi are just a few moments for the flat; shops are everywhere in the area. 7/11 just across the street and a Canadian bakery just downstairs from the flat.
There are 2 big bedrooms each with a Large Double sized bed and a big double sofa bed in the living room. Each bed sleeps at least 2 people. Free ultra high speed wireless and LAN internet, cable TV with DVD player. The apartment was just finished renovated, furnished and decorated with a full on bathroom and shower and a full kitchen with electric cooker, water boiler and all the eating and cooking utensils that a family would need. The apartment building as well as the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. One of the safest places in the world! The only drawback is that it is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator in the building, but it is really not a bad climb up the stairs at all and is quite good exercise. Other than that, it is the perfect apartment for a family or couple or group of friends or co-workers.
**In the past I have borrowed out adapters for FREE to guests as a courtesy and convenience, however, too many have not been returned (over 50) and I can no longer keep up with restocking. Unfortunately, I can't provide these for free but if necessary, will sell them AT COST (@HKD20) instead. Sorry that this gesture failed.

The apartment is not directly accessible by MTR but its easy to get to thru the tram and airport city bus. The stairs were really challenging for big luggages but the host were very nice to help us carry it up the stairs. The apartment was very clean but due to the fact that it is a old building therefore there is quite a bit of maintaince needed for the apartment. The apartment is not very recommended in the winter as its really cold and it makes the toilet/bathroom really wet because of the shower curtain. It is slightly noisy in the night because of the buses and in the morning as well. Overall, for the price that is paid for the apartment, is worth it to have a roof above your head and a comfortable bed to sleep in.
Apartment extremely noisy. The woman upstairs made our nights unbearable by slamming her door all night until 4 am. Can hear traffic really loud too. Not clean (especially staircase). All in all an experience I wouldn't recommend to others.
Really pleasant stay at this affordable place in HKG !
For this price and location, you hardly will find some place like this ! Moreover, Brendan's mom who welcomed us was really kind. I would definitely recommend this place for any body staying few days in Hong Kong to discover its magnificence.
Not a pleasant stay in Hong Kong at this unit. The stairs, all 76 of them, were incredibly steep and filled with smoke. There is a loud dog in the unit next door and this unit is much more suited to long term accommodation for a local. We were told to tell any neighbours that we were on a 30 day stay even though we had only booked what turned out to be an endurance at 5 nights. The toilet did not flush, the drains backed up continually and the kitchen was poorly fitted. The HWS occupies most of the shower cubicle and is extremely difficult to use. Wiring is poor and almost dodgy. There is way to much furniture and we question "big bedrooms", as a small double bed occupied 95% of the room in both bedrooms. The blurb says the unit fits 8, unbelievable claim as four of us battled for personal space. The TV had lots of channels but only a handful were subscribed to. The internet modem dropped out every 10 minutes for the entire stay. Brendan is a nice guy, however this unit is a slum and the location up 5 floors over steep and dangerous steps is too much of an ask for any fair traveller!!
good location and affordable price. you can find seven eleven in front of the house.
but high stairs and the location of being on 4th floor made us tired. if you have much luggage, may need second thoughts.
Brendan offered excellent service, providing whatever we needed during our stay. I appreciated that they often took initiative to see if we needed anything such as fresh linens and towels. That in itself made the place worthwhile. For Hong Kong the size was good. The bus system was excellent but it was a good 15 minute walk to the MTR. Overall it was a great place to stay.
terrible experience, dirty, urine smell in the stair, don t expect at all what you see, booked 2 weeks and left soon as possible to get a flight back to my country,
Excellent location, easy to get a cab and only 22hkd to central! Flat was okay for 3 adults although you would need to know them well, pictures definitely capture in a larger light. Flat was very clean although has wear and tear that you would expect. Be prepared for the stairs up to the apartment they are a challenge with large suitcases.
Brendan was a great host, checking we were ok through the stay and contact was swift.
Toilet needs to be worked on takes a fair few flushes, but shower was lovely! air con in all rooms work well and cools flat quickly, though when we returned from a long day flat had stayed cool. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs can be traffic noise late into night and early morning.
Overall stay was pleasant and would certainly return!
We were very disappointed by this apartment. The uploaded photos are definitely not a reflection of reality. We knew that the apartment was small but there was more furniture (large daybed, a different coffee table larger and much lower than in the picture that was blocking the entrance to a room) which made all movement difficult! Especially when you live there is 3 adults and a 18 month old baby who needs a little space to move around without bumping.
There is little or no storage. This is annoying when you stay two weeks somewhere. Not enough dishes either (1 fork for 4!). The apartment is very dark and mostly antiquated. There are plenty of marks on the walls, the floor is cracked, the air conditioning pipes hang in the room, the shower curtain was moldy and also the ceiling of the bathroom is moldy and paint of the ceiling crumbles and falls on the toilet every day. The flush works poorly. It must take 2 or 3 times for it to be empty!
Fortunately the apartment is clean (floor and dust well done).
If there is noise but that is in doubt because the apartment overlooks the street. 4 floors without stairs as it is difficult, but we were also aware.
For the positive side the apartment is indeed very well located in Hong Kong. And relations with Brendan were fast and very clear. This is a nice person.
But in the end this is still a bad experience for us. I think it could "pass" if we had a very short stay, just as a couple or with friends. But definitely not for a stay of 2 weeks with a baby.
This is a well equip nice apartment that ensure you will have a pleasant stay. Bus stop and tram are right in front of the street or close by. There are several very good restaurants in walking distance. The neighborhood is quite and safe. We had a good time stay there.
