Merci Gayle.
Gayle was a great host and made sure my stay was very comfortable. Great communication and made me feel right at home. Dundrum is a lovely place to stay with a couple of great restaurants within a short walk of the accommodation and stunning views over the bay. Wholly recommended.
Very welcoming and helpful host and lovely dogs. We had a great time staying with Gayle and her Family.
Gayle and her family were fantastic hosts and made me feel at home. When I arrived, I hadn't eaten all day and Gayle cooked me an omelette, which was incredibly nice and exactly what I needed. She also gave me a tour of the town and made sure I knew where media parking was for the Irish Open. In the evenings, she offered to give me a ride into town on several occasions, which was very kind and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Gayle and her family again.
This was probably one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had so far. Gayle, Christian, and Kate and their three silly dogs were so welcoming and accommodating they really made me feel like a member of the family. I came to Dundrum to visit Tollymore forest and Castle Ward, but hadn't even realized that this accommodation is right next to Dundrum castle, which is itself fantastic! If you're into medieval castles, this is the place to be. Gayle was great in giving advice and directions for places to visit in the area.
The room is large, bright, and comfortable, and convenient. I was offered all the relevant necessities including shampoo. I was even invited to share dinner and a drink with the family! Overall, a fantastic stay.
Gayle and her family have a beautiful home and made me feel very welcome. The directions that Gayle gave me were very easy to follow and made my arrival very smooth. The house is in a very nice quiet area, I only stayed one night so didn't get a chance to explore the town. But the surrounding countryside is beautiful and there's a nice view from the room.
I would recommend Gayle's AirBNB to anyone visiting the area -I'll certainly use it again if I'm back!
Gayle and her family were most welcoming and very helpful as to giving information about the locality.
We really felt at home during our stay.
The house was beautiful and the room was more than adequate.
It really is a 'must visit area' and the house location couldn't have been better, lovely views from our bedroom window
Conversation flowed over coffee, toast and sausages for breakfast - what more could guests ask for?
About the Host, Gayle
We are a family of 3 plus 3 awesome border collies. Please don't book to stay with us if you don't like dogs. Our Old Boy just likes the quiet life on the sofa and the pups are largely confined to the rear garden and kitchen (they don't have access to upstairs) but I appreciate dogs aren't for everyone.
Apart from the dog obsession, we also love music, comedy, New York and the works of Aaron Sorkin. We are also fans of AirBnB, having used it several times as guests ourselves!
