Large, cozy room in the heart of Venice, at a stone's throw from Rialto Bridge and only 5 minutes on foot to Piazza San Marco!
In a lovely quiet street between the worldwide famous Rialto bridge and the quaint Campi (squares) of Santa Maria Formosa and Miracoli. A very central neighborhood where you can find dozens of typical cafés and restaurants. The best location to get everywhere in the city!
The bright room is part of a 4rd floor attic with a wonderful view on Venice rooftops. You can see St. Mark's tower and the domes of Salute church just looking out of your window!
Recently renovated, it's composed by 2 a double bed, wardrobe, and desk. The bathroom and the kitchen are to be shared with the guests of another room.
Easily reachable by bus/train station, just 10 minutes with vaporetto (waterbus) line 2
Me and husband have stayed at Nicola's apartment for 4 nights and it was great! It is situated in the heart of Venice and most famous sights are around you..The apartment is spacious, clean and cosy and views from the windows are amazing. Actually Venice is really beautiful!
If we come again, i will definetely choose this apartment!
All the best, Inna
Nicola is a fantastic Host. quick to respond on the phone. Although I was very busy with the Biennale in Venice we still managed to hangout and meet friends and have Venetian food, which was beautiful.
The apartment room is spacious,
however I would only recommend it to young people as it is on the 4th floor with no elevators.
Nicola was a great host. The apartment was exactly as advertised. It is in a great location. Place was clean and gave you a idea of what it is like to actually live on the island. Only issue we had was we thought there was going to be internet/wifi as it was listed on the amenities page. There wasn't at the time we visited. It wasn't the end of the world but we felt like we had been mislead.
It was great to stay at Nicola's place. The guy who met us at the appartment was really helpfull and shown us a lot of things to go, where to eat cheap and stuff like that, he gave us a map. Basically we were out all the time because we had a short stay and the guy didn't mind coming home late (although he seemed busy with a job). Hopefully we were not disturbing in that sense! In general the room is very bright and cosy, the location is super and you have all the necessary facilities, and the price is amazing! Especially for Venice that is a city of chic) I can never regret our choice of place. Thank you very much to let us in, again apologise if we were in anything disrespectful or loud or so...
I was very lucky to have the opportunity to stay with Nicola and his roommates Annalisa and Silvia. Not only is their apartment in one of the most amazing locations in Venice (a few steps from
Rialto bridge), but they are wonderful hosts. This is not a hotel or bed&breakfast experience, but rather the feeling of staying over a friend's apartment (which is just what I wanted). They are incredibly helpful with recommendations of things to do, places to eat, etc...but also went out of their way to make me feel included and comfortable. They cooked me amazing meals (and taught me some Italian cooking), included me in their plans and showed me parts of the city I never would have found on my own, and were fun to spend time with. They made Venice a very special, unforgettable experience and I count them as friends now. Thanks guys for everything!!
