  • Nichola Ellis' home was lovely, and Nichola was a gracious host. The bedroom and bathroom were large and sufficient for my purposes. The dogs were also friendly. I recommend this place highly.

  • Delightful, comfortable, interesting. Lots of extras like fruit, milk in fridge, wide choice of coffee and tea, terrycloth robes, etc. Very handy information in notebook. TV with great selections. Also two fun dogs. Hostess and place were winners.

  • I absolutely loved staying with Nicola. She is so friendly, helpful, and considerate. All the animals in the house were so nice and well behaved and clean. The room was very spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished with lots of storage. The house is in a great location! The neighborhood is beyond charming and very walkable. I was moving to LA for the first time to start a new job, and nothing could have been a better start or more welcoming than staying at Nicola's nome. Thanks so much!

  • I loved staying with Nichola. Her property is very conveniently located to the major studios - I was able to walk to work until I got a car. Nichola is incredibly friendly and easy to live with, she also answered lots of questions I had about general LA stuff, and was always interested in how I was getting on. The pets added to my experience and I miss them now I don't see them every day.
Nichola had a booking straight after mine, otherwise I'd probably have extended my stay! Would highly recommend to anyone!

  • Nichola is very considerate and made sure my stay was comfortable. Upon arriving there was fresh fruit and drinking water waiting for me. The room was clean and comfortable. My bedroom and bath were segregated from the rest of the house giving nice privacy. Thank you Nichola.

  • I think I met the nicest airbnb host out there....Nichola was simply awesome and created the perfect guest experience. Communication to set up the stay was excellent, and very helpful to this out-of-town traveler. Talk about a nice place to stay, my room had everything I needed and I had access to a private bathroom as well.

Nichola's house is perfectly located. Just a few miles from the Bob Hope (Burbank) airport, and within walking distance of the famous television/movie studios. In fact, I walked to the Warner Bros. tour in just about 10 minutes. Surprise Surprise! I was able to see Paul Newman's prison costume from one of my favorite movies "Cool Hand Luke".

Nichola pointed out the location of the famous Hollywood sign on top of Mount Lee (it is actually facing the other direction away from Burbank but you can see a tower which marks the location) - the spot appeared to be literally right across the street in a sense. I got in my car and drove around Griffith Park and found the hiking path to the sign and had a nice hike up to take some photos. Another testimony to how well located this property is in greater LA.

Although close to major freeways and the studios, Nichola's house is located in the Rancho Equestrian district which is a haven for runners, cyclists, and nature lovers. I had come to Burbank to get fitted for a new bicycle, and was able to ride it all over the area. There are bike lanes everywhere, including the street Nichola's house is on.

From a practical standpoint, Nichola provides a mini fridge in the room, and there is a grocery store within walking distance (next to a Starbucks for your coffee fix). You can stock up on your favorite snacks/foods and fuel your day to explore LA. There's also a TV in there in case you want to catch the sitcoms being filmed right down the street!

Why stay in a hotel when you can meet wonderful people and see new things? Get off the beaten path and discover a world just waiting for you. I may sound like an airbnb ambassador but I'm just someone who feels the whole airbnb experience was off-the-chart exceptional!

  • Nichola is a lovely caring and considerate host! She was always there to answer questions about the area and would go out of her way to help. Recommend staying with her 100%!
