Great location and room, everything was impressive!! The way to find keys is really interesting hahaah!! 房间很不错，位置也好
The photos that have been uploaded do not do the apartment justice. It was very spacious, neat & tidy, and had plenty of natural light. The bathroom
Nick & Erica were very prompt in replying to my messages which was good because I booked with less than 24 hours before I was due to arrive in Tokyo. They were super helpful in supplying detailed directions to apartment, its only a short walk from a JR train station (so you can utilise your JR pass). And they were more than happy to provide me with recommendations for my trip.
There are soo many nice restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. And its only a short train ride from all the major hot spots in Tokyo. The pocket wifi was also so handy!
Great space. Modern, clean and very spacious. Having the mobile wifi was key. To note: The apt is not in Ikebukuro, its in (website hidden) is a lovely, sleepy neighborhood with many good eateries (even a bunch of Michellin recommended ones). But getting to Ikebukuro is one stop away, which adds about 10-15 mins to any travel each way when you account for getting to the station and riding the train.
Hosts were lovely and I would recommend staying here.
Erika and Nick were outstanding hosts who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay in Tokyo was comfortable. Erika made reservations for me and offered helpful and fantastic suggestions for things that I needed. The building was clean, modern, safe and comfortable. The apartment was so warm and it felt like home.
We had a great time in this studio. Is our first Airbnb experience and definitely not our last. Some friends are travelling to Tokyo soon and we are recommending 100% to stay here. Nick and Ericka were very kind to solve all our questions, with a rapid answer thru web messages and email. The studio is very confortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bathroom is so big compared to your regular Tokyo bathroom space in a hotel. The area where the studio is located is very safe, you have 5 minutes or less walking distance to restaurants, a mini-market, and vending machine a few steps outside the building. The train and metro station is about 15 minutes walking, with directions provided by Nick and Ericka including pictures, so there's no way you would get lost. We hope to return to Tokyo again, this place made it awesome to rest and have a super confortable stay. Thank you a lot again!
Nick and Erika gave me directions and a comprehensive house manual right away. I was able to easily find the place and I was so happy when I first walked in and saw how clean and modern the apartment was. I also love the area as the station is a nice respite from other hectic stations on the Yamanote line. Its also convenient as its just a few minutes from either the metro Otsuka or JR station (Yamanote).
The bed was nice and comfy and the place is very spacious compared to normal Tokyo apartments. Nick and Erika was also very communicative via messenger. Highly recommended.
