About this listing
This two bedroom condo in Costa Rica is a five minute walk to the beach and a ten minute walk to town. No need for a car! The safe, small and private community has the best pool around; you have a panoramic view of the sea from your lounge chair.
The Green Leaf Galeria is exactly that- it's own little world of revolving artwork amid lush plants. All of the wooden furniture is hand-made in Sarchi, the town that specializes in carpentry here in the central part of Costa Rica. Currently, a local artist fills the walls with his world-renowned work.
If you listen, you can hear the rush of the waves that are just a short walk away as you lounge on the plant-filled patio in a rocking chair.
The complex has regular iguana visitors, and a myriad of birdlife, palms and other flora. It is not uncommon to see howler monkeys in the area- you can certainly hear them!
Know that there are stairs. To get to the pool there are many stairs (perhaps 100) since it is so high. Once you get there, you'll see why it's worth the trip.
Guests who are checked in with us have unrestricted access to the shared pool, however, there are limits to the number of friends you can bring to the pool if they are not staying with us.
Interaction with Guests
Your manager is within shouting distance though you might not hear from him unless you need something.
Playas del Coco is a place you will visit more than once because you will love it. A five minute walk will get you to the beach and you can walk along the boardwalk until you reach, perhaps, Cafe de Playa, where you can sit and have a cold beer while you people watch and feel the ocean on your face. The nights are alive with bars and restaurants in Coco Beach! Pura Vida!
It is easy to walk but if you are coming back after dark then you will want to grab a taxi for $2. You can rent a golf cart or a bike too, if you wish.
Be considerate of your neighbors. If you want to party, please go to town. Please smoke outside only. No pets, sorry. Enjoy yourself to the max.
