Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.

Mountain and valley views

Guests say the views are lovely.
Beer, cheese, long walks in the woods & skiing! Our 180 year old little Farmhouse is close to all the rural essentials. Set on bucolic backroads, looking out towards Stowe, the little Farmhouse is a Vermont country paradise.
Starting in 2026, we will be building a home adjacent to the farmhouse. The property might be a bit of a construction project in the Spring and through the Summer.

*Read the “rules” section if you plan to bring a dog :)

.

The space
The house and 42 acre property is all yours to explore. There is another building we Airbnb on the property and We live in a cozy corner of an 1840 post and beam barn on the property. Feel free to explore the land on skis or snowshoes in the winter and enjoy the gardens and forest in the summer :)
*Large groups may want to look into renting both Airbnb’s or looking at renting the entire property with the barn as well.
Also- we recently got our cannabis cultivation license. Unfortunately, that means we have to ask you not to jump the fence into the plant zone in the far field.
In the summer, The sheep are rotationally grazed over on the left fields. They love to be scratched on their chests and necks! Please don’t pet the ram on top of his head.

Guest access
We are pretty relaxed but by law, we can’t let you into the cannabis field or greenhouse without one of us present.
Feel free to pet the sheep but please don’t go into their grazing area without one of us present.
Aside from that, Guests have free range of the farmhouse and the 42 acre property. There are plenty of woods and creeks to explore.

Other things to note
Some of the challenges (or perks!) with living in rural Vermont include but are not limited to:
- Dirt roads. Pot holes can be annoying. So can the month of April (or whenever spring mud season decides to visit us). When we have a lot of snow and a sudden thaw, these dirt roads can get pretty muddy. In those relatively rare cases, it’s especially good to have an all wheel/ 4- wheel drive car. If it’s an issue let us know and we can figure out a way transport you where you need to go :)
- WiFi can be a little slower than in the city.
-AWD/ 4WD is a really really good idea for winter time driving on VT roads. Snow tires are even better.
- No late night delivery services.
-Please see the “rules” section for questions about dogs

-I try to be an Airbnb that loves planet earth. Before you bring things like bottled water or small disposable plastic toiletries, let me know! I should have most things you need... and yes, f look more water is potable!

My work: Jeweler/ Farmer
Hi! I’m E.V.—I live in the barn and share the land with a rotating cast of fluffy and feathery co-stars. In winter, the animals head to a warm barn down the road, and leave me here with the cats, my jewelry bench, and a garden buried in snow. I’m usually nearby if you need anything. It’s my weird little wonderland—I hope it’s just the kind of strange cozy magic you didn’t know you needed.
