We really had a wonderful stay here! The flat is cutely decorated, has all the amenities you could want, wifi worked pretty good, and the village is right within walking distance. Out of all the places we considered booking, this place far surpassed our expectations! Thank you :)
Our holidays in Annascaul were amazing! Anna and Paul are great hosts and provided us with everything we needed during our stay (towels, bed linen, ...).
We were welcomed by Paul and a huge but very friendly dog. Paul showed and explained us everything about the flat.
The flat (actually it is a small house which stands separately on the property) was very lovely! The heating of rooms and water is electric. Costs for our 2-person-4-days stay were about 16€. The interior is new and clean. We really liked it :)
The flat serves as a perfect base to explore the dingle peninsula by car and for visiting sights like the Killarney National Park. In the village Annascaul you can find a few pubs, a post office and a small supermarket where you get everything you need for cooking. Moreover there is a Lidl in Dingle, which you can reach within 15 minutes by car.
Anna and Paul's flat was so lovely. It was very clean and perfectly equipped with everything you could need. And the shower is amazing! The setting is very quiet, with views of the mountains and surrounding pastures, as well as the beautiful stars at night. Very close (basically on main street) to Anascaul, with pubs and restaurants within walking distance. 15-20 minute drive to nearby Dingle, and the perfect launching point for exploring the peninsula and Kerry. We would absolutely stay again on our next visit. Thanks again, Anna and Paul!
Anna and Paul are fabulous hosts. Paul showed us everything we needed to know about the cottage.
The cottage itself is clean, cosy and very quiet and equipped with everything you gonna need.
Anascaul is a lovely little village and the perfect starting point to explore the Dingle Peninsula. We took some lovely walks in the surrounding area and daytrips to Dingle, Brandon Bay and the fabulous Slea Head.
This lovely place is highly recommended to anyone staying in the area!
Anna and Paul are great hosts. The flat was as described and in a very nice area. Paul recommended us great place to go visiting and we weren't disappointed.Dingle is a nice town 15min driving from the flat.
The flat's garden is very quiet and surrounded by sheeps.
You are welcomed by a very big dog, but he is very friendly and nice.
We will come back here for our next trip in Kerry.
We had a fine time in Anna and Paul’s cottage in Annascaul, it was perfect for our Irish country getaway. The cottage is great, it’s new, clean, and well equipped, with everything you need for your stay. It’s quiet and has a private patio outside for you to enjoy the beautiful mountain views and sunsets. We didn’t meet Anna, but her husband Paul was very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know about the area and the cottage. A car would be helpful for sightseeing, but if, like us, you don’t have one, there’s a bus that goes to Dingle at noon and returns at 17:30. There’s also pubs, restaurants, and markets in Annascaul within easy walking distance. Hiking in the Annascaul area is terrific; we took long walks on the back roads and took in the phenomenal Irish countryside. Go to Hannafin’s pub for hiking info and chat with John or his sister, they’re both very friendly. We took four great hikes: to the lake and waterfalls, to Inch beach, the three peaks walk, and also to the cove castle beach.
Thanks Anna and Paul for a wonderful week in your cottage, we highly recommend it for a great time in the Dingle area!
