This was my favorite Airbnb experience in Europe. Michele gave us a great welcome and had an excellent house manual with recommendations. We were late showing up, but Michele was flexible about it. We were concerned about catching our plane the last morning, but Michele assured us it was no problem and even ordered a private car for us. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed and the amenities were all as advertised - air conditioning, wifi, kitchen, tv, washer, etc. The terrace is nice, but don't expect a great view. The location is excellent. There is a lively night life, good eating all around and Trastevere is definitely cool. We really felt in the thick of things and got a taste of the lifestyle. The people watching is fantastic. There is a better ratio of local to to tourist than we found elsewhere. A bit longer walk and you can see the tourist sights along and across the river. You can get taxi or Uber for longer treks easily a block away. Eat a pizza at Ivo a Trastevere one night for a lively Roman sports bar/restaurant experience - put your phone away and enjoy the scene around you. Eat inside at Paris for a quieter evening with excellent food/ service - pick your own whiskey. Go across the river and try Ba'ghetto for fantastic Jewish Italian food - falafels, tabuli and dips are top notch. Visit the church a couple minutes away and feel some history. Great choice to get into the spirit of Rome in Trastevere.

This is a gorgeous apartment just off the main piazza in Trastevere. We chose Michele's apartment because it was so central and has a sensational terrace, which opens out from the kitchen. We were not disappointed - a beautiful retreat from the busy and hot Trastevere streets. The apartment is large and well equipped. We can wholeheartedly recommend it. Michele is a great host - responsive, on time, and allowed us to stay longer than the check out time. Thank you, Michele.

What a fabulous apartment. Huge comfy beds. All amenities. Netflix, WiFi, air con. Loved it. We could step out of the door and we were in bubbling Trastavere night life. Everything was easy walk or quick cab away. Perfect for a week in Rome

My brother and I had a great stay. The kitchen is well appointed, the flat is spacious and ideally located. We enjoyed coming back after a day of walking to a comfortable space. Would definitely stay here again! There is some street noise until late/ early morning when we stayed in bedroom closest to street but some earplugs helped drown out the noise so it was fine and not sure if it had to do with the holidays... Take a food tour in The neighborhood on one of your first nights and enjoy coming back to the recommended local spots , you will not be disappointed.

When looking for an authentic modern-day experience in Rome, I can't imagine it gets any better than Michele's apartment in Trastevere. Just steps away from the front door are winding streets lined with restaurants and bars, squares surrounded by cafes and shops - and full of friendly locals. Inside the apartment are two incredibly comfortable beds, a spacious living room, lovely private patio, fully equipped kitchen, and nicely updated bathrooms. The space is bright and airy, easily accessible, and the perfect retreat after wandering the city. The street-facing side does get a bit noisy at night in the weekends, but that comes with the territory when you're in the heart of one of the coolest neighborhoods in Rome. Can't recommend strongly enough - already daydreaming about my next visit.

Ciao sono Michele, amo viaggiare vivo a Roma ma mi sposto spesso a Barcellona. Amo la musica, suono la chitarra ed ho un ristorante in Spagna.
