Interaction with guests
As much or as little as the guests require.
The very friendly nature of the inhabitants. The many amenities, including 2 Boulangeres, general store, pharmacy, post office and wine tasting caves. The beach with a beautiful clear river to swim. Many lovely marked walks from the house. Close to the Canal du Midi, 30 minutes from the Mediterranean, Roman remains and much, much more.
Public Transport-Very little unfortunately and not at convenient times for holiday makers. Parking is normally quite easy opposite the house, Bize is a popular holiday village and extra parking has been made this winter. Hiring a car to see this beautiful diverse area is advisable.
No smoking or pets are allowed, sorry.
To respect other guests that may be in the house.
Welcome to my home and experience this beautiful, diverse region area of France. I am a young at heart pensioner and artist. When not looking after my guests I spend my time out in the old villages and countryside painting. During the occasional bad weather, I paint still life.
I chose this area for its' diversity of landscape, its' history, culture, food and wine.
Happy to advise guests on what to see and where to visit,if they require it. Whether your interests are walking, wine tasting, archaeology, cycling or just swimming and relaxing in the river Cesse a few yards away, I will guide you to the best places.
