great apartment with lovely sea view! really enjoyed our time here and the town of Torre a Mare is really nice. The buses to Bari were pretty frequent which was good.
Marco nous a fait un bon accueil. Il a par la suite repondu rapidement quand nous l'avons contacté. L'appartement correspond totalement aux photos. Il est propre et bien équipé.
We loved the stay at Marco's place! Marco himself was really nice and helped us a lot. We never went to Bari itself because you have to take a bus to get there. It's only 15 min so if you want to go to Bari, you easily could. But there is a lovely town 'Torre a Mare' not far from the apartment. It's about a 7 min walk. There are many restaurants in Torre a Mare. We recommend you go to Buco. Great food. If you want to catch some sun, the apartment has a beautiful terrace or you can go to the beach and swim in the sea. We miss it already!
When I talked with Marco by email, I asked him several times to give me the exact address of his apartment, he never gave me this address, but the name of a street located in vicinity. While the Marco apartment has an address : Parcxxxx - building xx - x Floor - door xx - it's less glamour that Vintage... In fact his apartment is located in a complex of several old buildings in very bad condition (I have pictures at your disposal) - and this can be seen with the right address on (website hidden) street ...is not very glamour..or vintage, this is old and ugly, then you will understand why he did not give us the exact address. The apartment is well arranged, but the kitchen was very dirty, and the double bed is not really comfortable, no TV working, and lot of things one shack by example are on the terrace.. On the other hand if we can see the sea from the apartment, between the building and the sea, there is a wasteland and ruins and also a soccer field just under the flat on which come every day childrens and adults, it is very noisy and in general we can not say that the place is quiet and relaxing with these six multi-storey buildings in this complex Upon arriving we were not able to join Marco on the phone and we found it a bit by hazard asking everywhere. The next morning the coffee maker did not work, despite my repeated requests via the Internet, he refused to do something, we had to buy ourselves a coffee maker. When we left the apartment Marco was not there and asked us to leave the keys on the spot. On the other hand it is interesting to note that the Marco apartment (one of the apartments he had for the less two others listed on Airbnb) This vintage flat is listed on Airbnb Italy (in Italian) and the rental rate is only 26 euros per day, then we paid $ 82 per day .. I think it's a dishonest process, offers a prize in English, and another for the Italians who know better the place. Take note that I would like you publish this review in the comments of the web page from Marco Vintage apartment. Thanks René Digard
We had a great stay at the penthouse - the view is amazing and it is a good base to explore Puglia from.
Marco and his mum were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we would have a good time. Marco checked in with us throughout our stay to check that everything was ok which was really nice.
We have just come back from a week in Marco's penthouse and we can not think of a single complaint. The apartment was beautiful with all mod cons. It was truly a home away from home.
The terrace was not only huge but also looked out right onto the sea. Marco was very helpful and pleasant and greeted us with a delicious watermelon and organic wine. I am not sure if this is included in each stay but it certainly deserved a mention in my review :)
I strongly recommend this airbnb listing. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Marco !
