  • This is really a wonderful, cozy place to stay, with a great bed and a good, hot shower. The garden is, indeed, lovely, with a nice patio where one can sit and enjoy the fresh air. It was just a short, easy drive into Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival and equally convenient to a number of wineries.

The studio is quite private, and Lisa is very respectful of leaving guests to their space. We didn't see her for the first couple of days. But when we did run into her, we found her to be really friendly and full of good information about the area.

The only heads up I would offer would be that the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a curtain, not a door. It was not a problem for us, but I think some folks might want more privacy.

We would gladly stay here again.

  • We had a lovely stay here. It's a TINY little place, but that didn't stop our hostess Lisa from filling it brimful of everything you could possibly need - books, libations, and bathrobes. We came here really run-down and sick, and recovered admirably while sleeping sound in an insanely comfortable bed with nice linens, lounging in the big easy chair, and making tea on the hot plate. Sitting outside on the porch was lovely; the garden is beautifully kept and her dogs are friendly and lovable. HIGHLY recommended. You couldn't ask for a more comfortable stay or a more hassle-free experience.

  • I highly recommend the sweet little garden studio; it was exactly what we needed on a quick weekend getaway to the Britt Festival. Quiet, charming and the coziest bed! Beautiful garden walkway; you can tell the space is loved and taken care of. The little details, including fresh flowers, were stellar. We will be visiting again! Thank you Gg!

It's strong suites: terrific location, calm settling, beautiful gardens, and close to all the good stuff in the region. Every amenity available for guests with receptive consciousness. Would stay there again any day.

  • We loved our stay here! It was clean, quiet and very charming. The cottage is located only a few miles from Downtown Ashland so it was very convenient. It is set up with a kitchenette, complete with dishes and utensils which was nice since we didn't want to dine out every night. Lisa is very friendly and knowledgeable, definitely ask her where the best places are in town. We would love to stay here again in the future!

  • This sweet little garden studio was an oasis and our instant (website hidden) was so kind and thoughtful, leaving out little toys for our son to play with and many other lovely touches like fresh water to drink in our kitchenette and flowers in vases. The space was small, but provided everything we could possibly want, reminding us of the bliss of simplicity. We also really enjoyed the private garden entrance with an abundant oasis of blooming plants and overflowing greenery. The little porch was perfect for reading in the rocking chairs and staying dry even during a warm Spring (website hidden)'s animal companions were also a hit, two kind dogs, a friendly cat, backyard chickens and rabbits. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be staying here again as well as recommend it to all our friends!

  • We were very happy staying in Lisa's little garden studio. The bed was very comfortable, the mini kitchen was great, and the garden was beautiful....wish I had her green thumb!
If it had not been so cold in the morning, we would have loved to have our morning coffee out on the porch. Next time!
We also enjoyed meeting Lisa and her friendly, four legged friends.
