About this listing
Sweet room located in a super well connected public transportation hub. It is a 2 minute walk to buses to Harvard Square (a 15 minute ride), Central Square, MIT (a 15 minute ride). Both connect with the Red line of the Subway which takes you many places. It is a 4 minute walk to buses that take you to Lechmere, Arlington, Davis Square, Porter Square, The Longwood Medical Area, Kenmore Square and more. It is a 15 minute walk to the Orange Line of the subway which takes you to Downtown Boston in 15 minutes, Northeastern University and Back Bay in 20 minutes and many, many more places.
There is safe on-street parking right in front of the house, a porch to store your bike or to just sit and have a moment to unwind.
The room has a double bed with a new memory foam matress.
The bathroom is shared but as we work mostly nights so there is no line for it in the morning.
There is a small fridge for you to store whatever you want in and we don't mind light cooking.
There is coin operated laundry four minutes from the house.
I know Boston and it's surrounding areas very well and will be happy to help you move around or find fun things to see and do.
We have a cat that is friendly.
Common curtesy, no drugs, smoking on porch. Parking is by Permit which we provide you to place on your dashboard. It is up to you to follow the rules clearly written on the pass therefore you park at your own risk. We have only had one person get a ticket for not following the rules which are very easy.
Soledad made us feel like "Mi Casa es Su Casa." She was very helpful with how to get around town use the public transportation and hints of what to see and what to avoid. We visited many awesome Museums, JFK, Old Library, walked the freedom trail, MIT and Harvard Museum of Natural History. We rented a car for our next 10 days and Enterprise brought it to us!
Soledad and Rodrigo were both home when we arrived around noon to drop off our bags. They were really flexible and accommodating about timing (even though we were running late). Soledad showed us our room and the rest of the house. The place was clean and comfortable and an incredible value for the price!
Soledad and Rodrigo are great hosts. Communication is very easy and they are very lovely. The public transportation is very near and there is a great old diner for breakfast close by.
They help u to find out al the interesting places u have to see. Thanks for showing everything on the map - it was really great!! And they provide coffee and tea in the morning :)
We will always come back!
Very helpful and welcoming. Comfortable stay in every regard. Highly recommend.
Kleines, sauberes Zimmer. Soledad ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, erklärt alles und hilft auch gerne mit Tipps, was man in Boston sehen sollte und was nicht. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Soledad and Rodrigo are great hosts. They allowed me to drop off my bag and use the restroom to freshen up before check in time. Also, they are always willing to guide you about what to do in the city. The room is as expected and location is convenient.

About the Host, Soledad And Rodrigo
I, Soledad am Chilean and Rodrigo is Colombian. We are social, lovers of all things art, music and travel.
My hispanic upbringing made me hospitable and domestically inclined. I love great food as a social ritual and cooking as an expression of love.
We are open hearted and abhor judgemental people. We love life and find joy in the tiniest of things.
We enjoy experiencing places by meeting "normal" people doing everyday things.
