About this listing

The space

Sweet room located in a super well connected public transportation hub. It is a 2 minute walk to buses to Harvard Square (a 15 minute ride), Central Square, MIT (a 15 minute ride). Both connect with the Red line of the Subway which takes you many places. It is a 4 minute walk to buses that take you to Lechmere, Arlington, Davis Square, Porter Square, The Longwood Medical Area, Kenmore Square and more. It is a 15 minute walk to the Orange Line of the subway which takes you to Downtown Boston in 15 minutes, Northeastern University and Back Bay in 20 minutes and many, many more places.
There is safe on-street parking right in front of the house, a porch to store your bike or to just sit and have a moment to unwind.
The room has a double bed with a new memory foam matress.
The bathroom is shared but as we work mostly nights so there is no line for it in the morning.
There is a small fridge for you to store whatever you want in and we don't mind light cooking.
There is coin operated laundry four minutes from the house.
I know Boston and it's surrounding areas very well and will be happy to help you move around or find fun things to see and do.
We have a cat that is friendly.

Other things to note

Check in is at 15:00 (3:00). These are the directions to access the keys from 15:00 on:

On the porch of 21 Morton Street you will see a dark mailbox. On the front you will find a little dial. Spin the three numbered dials to the combination (which you will receive upon booking). Open the mailbox and find the envelope with your name. Please only touch the envelope with your name and leave the others in the mailbox. Close the mailbox and spin the dials so that it can no longer be opened. Inside your envelope you’ll find a front door key, an apartment key, and a key for the lock on the door to your room. You’ll also find important information on the apartment and the area. Please read the envelope as some people stay at 21 Morton Street and some people stay around the corner at 156 Glen Street. The Glen Street entrance is a different entrance of the same big house that sits on a corner of both these streets. When you check out please leave your keys in your room and leave your room UNLOCKED. Please get in touch via Air BnB if you have any issues with these instructions.

Great place to stay. The house is decorated with many items from Sol and Rodrigo's travels. The giant fish tank is relaxing to watch. The cats Pepe and Ziggy were adorable too. There is no TV which was nice to escape from. Stairs are steep and many, not a good place for someone with a bad knee or disability. Great hosts: I would highly recommend.

We spent three nights with Soledad and Rodrigo, it was an awesome experience. They were so nice and generous, really made us feel like at home. They also provided all useful information and helped us as much as they can. The location really near downtown and it's really quite and comfortable. By the way, we love those cats. ^^

Lovely house close to public transport in Boston which is cheap and will take you anywhere in the city. The only issue we had was there was always dirty dishes in the sink so made washing out things up difficult. This could have been other guests though so can't complain too much. Overall it was a great stay and a perfect price to explore Boston.

Very friendly and polite, small location but not cramped. Room itself had more than enough room, and was clean and comfortable. Great value! Nice location (but wish it were closer to subway)

Soledad and Rodrigo are genuine, authentic people, and their home a delight to stay in. Quiet and comfortable with tons of artistic elan. Easy parking and interesting neighborhood. I walked to Buddy's Diner which I highly recommend as well. Soledad offers an abundance of information about getting around Boston and things to do, places to eat, what to see. I will stay again.

Soledad And Rodrigo User Profile

I, Soledad am Chilean and Rodrigo is Colombian. We are social, lovers of all things art, music and travel.
My hispanic upbringing made me hospitable and domestically inclined. I love great food as a social ritual and cooking as an expression of love.
We are open hearted and abhor judgemental people. We love life and find joy in the tiniest of things.
We enjoy experiencing places by meeting "normal" people doing everyday things.
