This is my personal, lively studio apartment with full kitchen. Come live like a local! This neighborhood is a realty hot spot and sits in the North East section of downtown Asheville. 2 night minimum on weekends. I'm happy to be a tour guide. . .
This cozy house is nestled in the historic district of Asheville. In the early 1900's, this neighborhood was a rich hub for jazz musicians and continues to be an inspiring, alternative base for artists and open minded visitors.
You will have the private BOTTOM studio apartment. I own the whole house.

Interaction with Guests
As much or as little as you need! I like to greet my guests and get them oriented. I'm always a text away!
This neighborhood is the home to artists, eco, alternative folks, many of whom own businesses downtown and are healers, dreamers and music makers. The feel is friendly, relaxed, safe and inspiring. It's SO FUN!
There is a bus line nearby. For $1 you can get from the airport to the downtown bus station! No trains or subways. Taxis are available. You can walk and bike to downtown restaurants, venues, grocery stores, breweries, art galleries, book shops and museums and theaters. Once you are at the house, you won't need your car!
Other Things to Note
This is my private space so you get a big ol' kitchen, but you also get the not-so-updated Grandma bathroom which is entirely functional and clean, but still rocking with the flower power mint tub and not so sexy plastic liner. These are next on the renovation list! There are a few minor things that are quirky - like the stove buttons on the stove and the dish washer does not run right now. If you are not looking to prepare a thanksgiving feast, it's more than acceptable. The fridge has filtered water and an ice machine and there are plenty of dishes and glasses.
Please don't rummage through any drawers, respect keep out signs on closets, again this is my private space. Please ENJOY the books but DON't take them off the premises. Have fun. Roll in the grass. Talk to the neighbors. Get weird. This is Asheville! Sorry, no pets.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Chelsea's place was perfect. Short walk to downtown. Short walk to some great restaurants. The neighborhood is very friendly and unique. And Chelsea was very accommodating and kept in touch with me. I would highly recommend her studio.
Chelsea was great and friendly. She gave us good ideas on places to go as well as invited us to a local gathering with her friends. The apartment was clean with plenty of street parking and near downtown. We did drive everywhere we went, but we could have easily walked if we had wanted to do so.
A wonderful stay at Chelsea's lower level apartment. The space was clean and nice, creatively decorated with nice artist/musician touches. We felt right at home with a full kitchen, a private entrance, and books like Hafiz that we were and to pull out and read. Very convenient location near Asheville yoga center and fairly close to downtown. Chelsea was great and available for any questions. All in all, I recommend staying at Chelsea's place!
Upon arrival Chelsea was so sweet and welcoming. She gave us the tour and great info on things to do around Asheville. The place was super cute, clean, and full of amazing teas! We felt very comfortable and at home. Also, when I was out looking for a good pizza place, I texted her and she got right back to me with great options! I would highly recommend Chelsea's studio for a short or long stay in Asheville.
Nice little studio in a quaint part of town. Listing was totally accurate and most other guest feedback aligned with what was described. We stayed over the Xmas holiday and weren't around all that much, but found Chelsea's place to be convenient and comfortable. While downtown was walkable (about .7 mile), we generally just drove and parked. There's a nice little bakery (City Bakery) just a few blocks away. And beside that, a nice spot for specialty cocktails and decent appetizers/small plates. In the future, we'd probably just stay in a hotel downtown (so many options these days!) for the convenience sake, but this was a fun alternative for the holidays.
Chelsea was a great host! Everything was exactly as advertised. Walking distance to downtown, cozy, exactly what we needed. Looking forward to going back!
