A map of the neighborhood with all the main spots (including those mentioned above) will be provided to you upon arrival.
In the apartment, you will enjoy ultra-fast cable internet as well as Wi-Fi (wireless internet), a 32" HD TV, a quality sound system (Amp + 4 speakers) and great view from the 9th floor. - Maximum of 2 guests allowed in the apartment, no exceptions.
- Shoes are to be left strictly at the door (there is a shoe rack for that), Japanese style!
- Garbage disposal should be done by separating burnable, non-burnable and recyclable (bottles, cans etc), which is the rule in Tokyo. There are dedicated garbage bins for each in the apartment.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited within the apartment (you may smoke in the balcony under the condition that you leave no trace and don't throw the cigarettes outside to keep the building clean). Any trace / smells left from smoking will need to be professionally removed, and the related fee will be removed from the deposit. Professional cleaning is quite expensive in Japan, so please save us both the hassle!
- No barbeque in the balcony.
- You may use all the amenities provided.
- You may freely use the spices and condiments in the kitchen. If you finish one of the bottles, while not mandatory it would be appreciated if you could replace them.

- Rules of common sense: respect for the neighbors (noise), respect for the host (leave things the way you found them).
I had a great time in Tokyo, and in Alis flat. It's very quiet, but in a neighbourhood where you find everything you need, restaurants, shops, a supermarket. And the Gotanda metro station is on the Yamanote circle line which gets you about anywhere you might wanna go. The appartment has all you need and is very suitable for people who have to do some work: There's a desk and the internet is very reliable and fast. Ali gave me a very detailed and helpful description of the appartment and the neighbourhood and was always quick to answer all my questions.
Ali's place was located in a fantastic area. As per his listing it is a bit quiet BUT it's the ideal place to come home to. Tokyo's subway system is excellent and Ali's place is 2 -4 stops from any of the major neighbourhoods and sites.
The apartment itself was ideal for two of us it was very, very clean and tidy. Larger than the hotel rooms we stayed in and made a great base. Ali was incredibly responsive, his instructions were very, very thorough and he was a pleasure to book with. I would highly recommend his place and him as a host any time.
We had a good time at Alis tiny place. Its about a ten minute walk from the JR line, which is the most convinient train. Its a sleepy neighbourhood, not much going on, so quite quiet at night.
Ali was extremely courteous and reliable in his communication. Definitely worth a stay.
Ali's place was perfect for me. It's a short walk to the green JR Yamanote train line, which takes you directly to Shibuya, Harajuku and Shinjuku. The Yamanote also makes a circle around Tokyo, so it connects to tons of other train lines. You are set to go anywhere from the Yamanote.
I'm a female, I speak no Japanese and I usually came "home" around midnight. I felt very safe in that neighborhood and in Ali's building. The apt itself provided everything I needed- including a washer/dryer and a hair dryer. It's clean and uncluttered. It was a great "home base" for my two weeks in Japan.
An added bonus- the water in the bathtub comes out hot and stays that way until the tub is full. I refuse to take a bath in America again now that I've been spoiled by Ali's bath in Japan.
Ali was very responsive and helpful with detailed directions about how to get to his place and use the amenities in it. The apartment was perfect for our week in Tokyo and its proximity to the Metro and other trains made it easy to get around. Although we never met Ali, everything went exactly according to plan and he checked in (via email) with us every step of the way. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Ali est un hôte très attentioné et communicatif, l' appartement est dans un immeuble récent et sécurisé , vue panoramique incroyable sur Tokyo, supermaché à proximité.
This apartment was perfect for my wife and me during our stay in Tokyo. The location is great allowing us to experience the real Japanese culture yet located right by Togoshi train station and Gotanda train station. This allowed us quick and easy access to all of Tokyo. Not to mention the super market is right around the corner and open till 1 am. This was perfect so that we could sight see a full day, return on the last train, and still be able to get to the super market. With the kitchen in the apartment, we were able to make most meals and save a lot of money on food. Ali was extremely helpful. Anything we had a question about he answered and responded within the hour. He stayed in touch before our trip, during our trip, and even made sure we made it home safely. Ali went above and beyond by individualizing a train route for us telling us the exact times and trains to take from the airport to the apartment according to our plane's arrival and departure times. The food he left for us to eat on our first night there was most appreciated after such a long flight. We could not recommend a better place or host. This apartment and Ali's help made our trip the best it could be. Thank you Ali we will definitely stay there for all our trips to Japan.
My name is Ali and I live in Tokyo, Japan. I work for a major Japanese company and mostly take care of the internal audit of its subsidiaries abroad, thanks to which I get to visit many countries all over the world. Since this makes me spend a lot of time away from home, I put my apartment on Airbnb for other people to be able to comfortably enjoy what Tokyo has to offer (which is a lot!) during those times.
I am a bit of a maniac when it comes to cleanliness, and always keep my apartment spotless (yes, I'm one of those crazy people who clean several times a week and go berserk at the sight of the slightest dirt spot). As a result, I'm very respectful of other people's property, and expect the same from my guests.
I travel a lot both for work and leisure, but when I'm in Tokyo I spend most of my time working out, doing Capoeira, playing basketball, and enjoying Japan's breathtaking scenery through motorbike rides.
