Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • This is a fantastically located apartment for LA, central to everything. Having Plummer Park just footsteps away is also a major advantage.

The apartment is light and spacious - the rooms are big and airy. Fantastic, large kitchen and living room to spread out in. Upstairs, both bedrooms are a generous size, and the other great thing is that there is heaps of storage and cupboard space - you don't have to look at your suitcases at all!

Angel is an attentive host. Even though she was overseas for some of our stay, she was always available via email and quickly arranged for things that we needed from afar.

This apartment is in a bustling inner-city area, so there is lots happening all around you. We love that, and really enjoyed it, but if you're after total peace and quiet this won't be for you. We stayed here with our toddler and were very happy - but for any potential guests coming with little kids, do be aware that there is a large staircase in the apartment, so you'll need to be careful.

  • Angel's Townhouse is in the most fabulous location! We walked everywhere! From the Beverly Centre and The Grove for that shopping fix to Runyon Canyon to walk off last nights pizza at The Jones (recommended by Angel!) to great brunch and lunch spots and a few evening drinks on Melrose Ave.
Angel welcomed us and gave us so many great recommendations and then left us to our long weekend.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, but we didn't put that to use with so many eateries nearby. Comfy beds were all we needed and they certainly delivered.
Thanks Angel for allowing us into your home!

  • Angel is a great host and has a lovely house.
its really well located in west hollywood, has really comfy beds and everything you need for a home from stay.
we would reccommend this place highly and will return for sure.

  • Angel's place is lovely and a great place to stay if you want to experience LA and Hollywood. We were there for a week and it was the perfect base for our stay. The house is big and spacious and you have a Wholefoods down the road if you want to stock up the fridge.

I can warmly recommend Angel as a host and her place and hopefully we'll be back next year.

  • My brother and I enjoyed our stay, mostly because we considered it to be an "authentic" experience.

  • Angel's place is in a very central, busy part of LA... So it's good for people who plan on going out a lot (dinners, drinking, shopping, etc).
Angel is a great communicator and super helpful with logistics and information about the local area and LA.
The apartment is a little older so has the character you would expect from this vintage. It has 2 bedrooms, and one bathroom upstairs - a living area and kitchen downstairs at street level.

  • Angel was an excellent host. She waited for us to arrive at her place even though we had underestimated LA traffic and were late. She have us great tips on West Hollywood and more - and was very considerate! The house is really well located, off Santa Monica bvd and very near Subset bvd. By car. ROdeo Drive or griffith obsevatory in 20 minutes. 30 minutes to santa monica or venice beach. The place is spacious, and perfect for 3-4 people. The kitchen is stocked with all basic utensils and also the bathroom is well stocked. The neighborhood is safe. Would definitely return!!

  • I recently stayed at Angel's apartment with a friend for about 90 days and found Angel to be very helpful, yet not overbearing which some hosts can be. The apartment is very well centrally located, my roommate decided against having a car, which is almost unheard of in LA, yet found getting around very easy. Grocery stores, amenities, laundry, bars are all nearby and reachable on foot, again very rare.

The apartment itself was more than big enough for two people, kitchen was large enough to cook in daily.

While this is certainly not a luxury listing, we found it perfectly comfortable and a place to call home for the 3 months we were in los angeles. Would absolutely stay again.

  • Great space in a lovely mission-style building. Walking distance to restaurants and grocery. Large amount of space for the price. Angel was a very nice host -- there if you needed her, but hands off if you didn't. Right near the park, too. Couple tips: parking can be tough in the evenings, you might want to think about a cab if you're going out and watch those street cleaning signs! I had a couple hefty tickets from not paying attention. I also wanted to check out the Farmer's Market and didn't get to -- you should check it out!

  • I really enjoyed my stay here. The apt was very well located. It has plenty of space. The bed is very decent. Everything worked well. And Angel is a great host, very helpful. Only one small negative is that the apartment was a little darker than it appears in the photos, but really that is not a major problem. I stayed for a week and loved it.

Artist / Writer / Traveler "A search always starts with Beginner's Luck and ends with the Test of the Conqueror." ~ The Alchemist, Paolo Coelho I started staying with friends while traveling the world for 3 years, in America, Europe, Asia. Then found it enjoyable to host in my townhouse guest room now that I'm settled back in LA. I harvest amazing fresh California organic produce from the farmer's market across the street. Have discovered Planet Vitamix making fruit and vegetable juices every morning. Take my small fluffy hypoallergenic dog hiking every sunset. And devote the majority of my day to artistic pursuits, painting, writing, reading, yoga, movies, art events, friends, etc. I believe in Live and Let Live. You will definitely have your personal space and privacy here, and I am available if you need helpful advice on where to go and what to do in LA. Cool, respectful, conscious living.
