If you're looking to explore Asheville, Marilyn's place will work fine. It was a good location for my friends and I to explore Asheville. It's only a few minutes from downtown, but is located just off the beaten path. For the price, we were happy with our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was like a home away from home - very clean and a short drive to downtown Asheville.

Marilyn's place was great. Easy drives to all things. Much bigger than appears in pictures. Washer and dryer are shared with home above.

The apartment was a great base for our weekend in Asheville, and a nice place to meet up with friends and their dog (finding pet friendly places isn't easy). The bed wasn't great, but everything else about the place was just as described.

We had a wonderful time! I highly suggest for a couple or single person. The bathroom was gorgeous and spacious and the kitchen was spotless. Even though they allow pets, you would never know that a furry animal had stayed there. I suggest going in the warm months. We were there during a bout of cold and the apartment was a bit chilly. Towards the end of our stay, it warmed up quite a bit and it was very comfortable in the apartment. :) 10/10

Marilyn's apartment was close to both West Ashville and Downtown which made sightseeing very convenient.

We are oriiginally from the northeast but have joined our two children and our grandchildren. We live four hours away in Raleigh but visit often. Can't get enough of those little ones. We may or may not be in residence while you are here but are only a phone call away.
