The Treehouse is a casita that sits nestled under beautiful trees on a lush, spacious property close to the Rio Pueblo. The interior is beautifully appointed and will leave you feeling rejuvenated, calm and pampered. The outside features a wrap-around deck with gas grill, fire pit and lounging areas, and a private hot-tub off the bedroom. It is located just off a main road with easy access to our Historic Plazas, as well as Taos Ski Valley.

The space
We are very pleased to announce that the 14-day quarantine in New Mexico has been lifted for out-of-state visitors. Wearing masks and social distancing in public is still required. We are NM Safe Certified and committed to Airbnb's 5-step Cleaning Protocol.

Guests are welcome to walk around the property south of the main house, down to the river. There are two other rental units (The Barn and The Loft) in the main house. The Treehouse (1-bedroom with hot tub sleeps 3 guests), The Barn (2-bedrooms with a loft and hot tub sleeps 6 guests) and The Loft (1-studio apartment sleeps 2 guests) can also be booked together for large family gatherings. We are open to long-term stays as well.

There is a fire pit with dry wood in a box behind the wall, and a picnic table beyond the hot tub under a big apple tree. The acequia (irrigation ditch) runs most of the summer and has a rope swing that children love to play on. The sparkling, private hot tub is accessed out the bedroom door and is a wonderful place to stargaze at night.

Where you’ll be

Taos, New Mexico, United States

The property is located in a sweet neighborhood, unusually lush and green for Taos in the summer months. Winter usually brings lots of snow from November to March. Snow tires or chains are highly recommended. There are magnificent old Cottonwood trees on the property and you'll be surrounded by calming, pastoral views to the south. Sometimes you'll see cows grazing on our neighbor's land. Taos is well known for its excellent skiing terrain, light powder and blue skies. Taos Ski Valley, a world-class ski resort, is 30 minutes away. Sipapu, Angel Fire and Red River are also great ski areas, easily accessed from our location. We're about 10 minutes away from both the historic Taos and Ranchos Plazas.
