Piergiuseppe was a terrific host and very attentive to any questions. The driving service provided by Peter Singer was also seamless. The apartment was even better in person with plenty of room to accommodate my friends and myself. My first impression was that the apartment was spotless! I stayed one month and after long days of touring it was a wonderful place to relax. The apartment was also nicely stocked with supplies. I really enjoyed the square just two blocks back from the apartment. Food choices abound and the cafe owners are so nice. It also has a less touristy feel and better prices than those areas too. I would highly recommend Fiktiv pub where they make their own buns for sandwiches. I also enjoyed Soulfood restaurant on Raday street - very inventive menu. The apartment is within 15 minutes walk of great restaurants, the grand market, the river, and many of the main sights in the city center. It is also a quick 20 minute walk to the train station for quick day and overnight trips. We spent two days in Eger in the wine country which was so quaint and the wine choices in the valley of the sirens was unbelievable! This apartment and Piergiuseppe assisted me in falling in love with Budapest. I will definitely be back and plan to stay in this apartment again.
The apartment was perfect for us, it was very clean and quiet. Szilvia, who met us at the apartment was very friendly and she went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay in Budapest. Very highly recommended.
A quick summary: We had an amazing time in Piergiuseppe's flat - it was very large, centrally located, and well appointed - and we would thoroughly recommend it. Piergiuseppe was helpful in organising a transfer for us from the airport (we got in very late at night), and helpful as and when we needed it!
We were very pleasantly surprised about the size of the flat when we arrived - and in terms of its immediate surroundings, it's close to a number of shops, greengrocers and restaurants, making it very liveable. It is in a second inner court yard of a nice street - making it feel 'romantically authentic' and secure.
You are only a short walk from the centre of Pest and all of its amazing sights. It's also only a couple of minutes walk from Hungarian National Museum (which is outstanding) and the metro stop next to it - so everything is accessible from here!
There was a good sized kitchen with everything you'd need to prepare a family meal and a good sized dining table for a large family like ours (we were 5). Everything else about the flat was pleasant, airy and spacious.
In short, we'd recommend this flat to our family and friends - whether travelling as a couple or a family, as the flat could easily fulfil needs of either and represented good value for money
The apartment was around the corner from where I was doing some consulting, so it was perfect. And it is in a great area; near to transportation, near a bridge and the Danube, with many good restaurants. We never had a bad meal.
And the unit is very large, with two good size bedrooms, a fully functional kitchen, terrific dining/work area, and a modest living room.
Piergiuseppe was a fabulous host and was great to deal with. He even had a dim light bulb replaced while we were there even though it wasn't essential. He is an ideal person to deal with, answering all questions promptly and lending a hand for a stranger in a new city beyond what any contractual relation might require. I would go back in an instant.
Very nice apartment and Piergiuseppe really facilitated us in the most helpful way. We were in Budapest for a training and therefore liked a quiet place to stay. This apartment certainly is quiet.
Unfortunately we didn't see much of Budapest, so we will have to come back some time to do sightseeing and would definitely want to stay with Piergiuseppe again.
Our stay in Budapest went beyond expectations. Piergiuseppe made our stay even greater. He was super cute, dedicated and full of tips for us (e.g. he suggested us to go to Szimpla that turned out to be a great place to spend a night in). The apartment was huge, beds were comfortable, kitchen super clean and properly furnished.
Location was central (Jewish block) and close to a lot of amenities.
We couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you Piergiuseppe.
We had a fantastic time in Budapest. The apartment is extremely well situated, with great transport links (although we walked everywhere - if you like walking you can get most places within 30 minutes).
The apartment is very well equipped, comfortable, very spacious and with a lovely vibe. As two friends, each with a separate room, we had tons of space, but would say that there is easily enough space for 2 couples, and a third room that could serve as an additional bedroom with a pullout couch. There's also a cot. The shower was fantastic, and the kitchen well equipped and with a gas hob. The (tiny) downside to the flat is that it is not very light - but we went in the winter so this didn't bother us - and we were out most of the time anyway.
In spite of being very central, the apartment is in a secluded courtyard which was very peaceful, so we felt we had a little haven for the week we were there, which was a real bonus after treading the busy streets all day.
We didn't meet Piergiuseppe but the lovely Szilvia let us into the flat and gave us some recommendations. Piergiuseppe was very friendly on email, quick to respond to our queries in advance of our stay, and gave us excellent directions.
I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough.
The apartment near the National Hungarian Museum was located perfectly, in the middle of the city centre, but in the same time located on a quite street. The apartment was huge (even for 4 persons) and had everything you could possibly need for a long weekend trip! Upon arrival Piergiuseppe even prepared some apples and fresh cookies from the bakery.
Also, very clean (!), comfy beds and plenty of towels.
Definitely recommend this appartment to anyone :)
Piergiuseppe thank you again for a lovely stay!
