adorable apartment on an adorable street, an adorable distance away from everything adorable. #parkslope
Amazingly homie three-bedroom, 2nd floor apartment in gorgeous Park Slope Brooklyn. Features a fantastic layout & awesome pre-war detail & vibe. Perfectly nestled right next to (gorgeous/safe/pristine) Prospect Park ~ 585 acres of diligently planned wilderness //
The bedroom offered is the master; located right off of the kitchen, on the opposite wing of the house than the other two bedrooms. This room is just the best! It over-looks the pretty tree-lined street and is decorated with Victorian antiques as well as kitschy toys, trinkets, books, zines, and vinyl records. A queen-size grand four-poster bed holds a top-of the-line Tempur Pedic mattress that will have you sleeping like a baby. The room also boasts a nightstand, desk and sitting area... as well as a ceiling fan, AC unit & land-line telephone.
The apartment in its entirety features a long hall, bathroom (with tub), kitchen, and parlor.
There is a small courtyard and laundry facility connected to the building.
The neighborhood is beautiful, clean, peaceful, safe, and has endless amenities. We are located on a peaceful tree-lined street, with old-fashioned street lamps, lavish brownstone & limestone mansions, birds singing songs, fresh air!.. yet within a five minute stroll you have a vast array of food-markets, bars, boutiques, theaters, salons, shops and some of Brooklyn's top restaurants. Very awesome.
The f/g subway train station is a three minute walk away.

The place dusty. But comfortable.
This is a great location, central to all the cool things Park Slope has to offer, especially in the summertime -with concerts in the park so close by. The apartment is bright and sunny, the room is cozy, clean and peaceful. I didn't get to see much of the other people living there - they were very quiet, and considerate, but when I did, they were very personable, and it was fun and informative to talk with them. I highly recommend this apartment, as well as Louisa - she is a great host with a wonderful space.
I've really enjoyed my time at louisa's place. She is a very kind host.
The apartment is very cozy, everything was like the descriptions and photos and the neighborhood is amazing. I've felt my self home. It was my first experience in airbnb and It was a smooth start.
The place was only a short walk to the train, which made travel around Brooklyn and to the city very easy. Louisa was super friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions, too. She was neither overbearing nor too distant. While she was just on the other side the apartment, she was very quiet and I often thought I was there alone. All in all I highly recommend the apartment!
I really enjoyed staying at Louisa's apartment and would always come back. It's a very special place with fun decoration. The neighboorhood is beautiful and relaxed with cafés, restaurants and Prospect Park around the corner. The metro station is super close and brings you directly to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Communication with Louisa worked excellently. I met her only when I arrived but she was very nice and welcoming
Louisa's room is one of the most beautiful, personal and lovingly decorated places I've ever stayed at and so is the entire flat. I loved it from start to finish: The vintage flair, the shape, the location and most of all, the down to earth kind of warmth and cosiness: You could feel there were actually people living in there and those people were nice, kind and helpful, too! So, a big yeahyeah to both Louisa and her room-mates! I really felt at home and would always come back (if they let me).
