Frog Meadow Farm Bed & Breakfast and Massage Oasis for Men is a welcoming, non-judgmental place for men of all colors and backgrounds to unwind and shed the trappings of busy modern life. Situated on 63 beautiful and private acres in Southeastern Vermont with mountain views, extensive perennial gardens, and a wood-fired hot tub, Frog Meadow Farm is what you've been looking for!
We are committed to providing a welcoming, non-judgmental and comfortable space for men to relax and shed the trappings of busy modern life. In the "aloha spirit" of Hawaii that inspired us to create Frog Meadow, our guests are considered “ohana”, or extended family. It is our hope that following your stay at Frog Meadow, you will return home refreshed and renewed, having taken some of our “Vermont aloha spirit” back home with you to share with others.
Frog Meadow is located on the site of the Wheeler Farm, a 1700’s dairy farm and apple orchard that bordered historic Newfane Village’s original mountaintop site atop Newfane Hill. Our extensive perennial and annual gardens, varietal apple orchard, fruit and vegetable gardens are pollinated by our active beehives, butterflies, hummingbirds and bats who also call Frog Meadow their home. In addition, owls, hawks, songbirds, wild turkeys, pileated woodpeckers, otters, deer, the occasional moose - and of course, our many species of frogs - share their wonderful habitat with us.
Taken from the word “recreation”, use your time at Frog Meadow as an opportunity to re-create yourself. Explore our hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails and re-connect with nature and yourself. Enjoy Frog Meadow’s spring-fed swimming & lap pond. Take the time to release muscle aches, stiffness, pains and renew your body and soul with a soak in our 750-gallon, eco-friendly wood-fired hot-tub, followed by a 60- or 90-minute therapeutic massage.
Frog Meadow Farm is 30 minutes from the Appalachian Trail, Mount Snow or Stratton Mountain ski resorts and only 4 miles from the popular Rock River swimming hole. There’s lots of things to do in the area throughout the year including great food and active arts/cultural scene!
We are an all-male establishment, as allowed by Vermont State Statute Title 9, Commerce and Trade, Chapter 139, Discrimination in Public Accommodations, section (d). Our customers are primarily gay and bi men, but all men are welcome.
Note that all rates posted are inclusive of 9% Vermont State Room & Meals Tax.
What do two guys with a big house on 63 acres do with themselves? Open a Bed and Breakfast and Massage Retreat for men!
When Scott and Dave went to the Puna coast off the Big Island of Hawaii in December 2005, they rented a house from a wonderful massage therapist and Body Electric sacred intimate named Dwight. The area was very rural, progressive and gay friendly, kind of like a tropical Vermont by the sea. Days spent on the black sand naked beach, swimming with the dolphins, followed by a 90-minute massage in a seaside Indonesian hut, restored and replenished the soul. The experience was so powerful that Dave decided then and there the next chapter of his life would be to go to massage school and focus on working with men.
We provide a welcoming and restorative space for men to relax and leave the outside world behind. Dave’s intention with his massage is to heal, soothe, and restore balance in the body, mind and spirit. So much of today’s mass media society is about exploitative sex, violence, wealth and physical perfection. All this serves to stifle the ability to be comfortable in one’s own body and the opportunity to embrace your imperfections and those of others. Frog Meadow is a place to leave that all behind and celebrate the brotherhood of men!
