Vacation Rental Property
. Your Athens house has a fully-equipped kitchens, free wi-fi and an artistically decorated living rooms that is well-suited for relaxing, reading or even formal meetings and seminars.
Every apartment has two bedrooms in which you may sleep comfortably on full-size beds.
The description of first floor appartment.: Near the bedrooms there are book shelves with select titles in English and Greek for your reading pleasure. The living room, which is one of the most spacious rooms of the apartment, displays a unique style of decoration that you will find no where else, with beautiful textured walls constructed from stone by local craftsmen. Your apartment is fully furnished with all of the standard modern appliances and includes a TV and a stereo system. Some guests have said the overall appearance suggests a vintage or retro look.
"Walking into this apartment the first thing youll notice is the stone wall in room straight ahead. And even though, out the corner of your eye, you catch the natural light streaming in through a stained glass window to the right, you cant help but want to explore the room with the stone wall.
From the doorway you can feel the understated power of this room. An air of sophistication, wisdom and - if it werent for the modern day sounds of cars and scooters drifting in through the window- youd think you were in a 1950s study.
Antique furniture scatters the room, and each beautiful stone wall is accentuated with thematic art- Egyptian papyrus, Grecian plates, and Victorian frames. You could spend forever and a day taking in the tiny details that make this room so interesting. From the vintage wooden treasure chest to the stacked encyclopedias and trinkets lining the dark wood cabinets, which strategically placed, add to the rooms charm.
If, at some point, youre finally able to tear yourself away from this enchanting room, perhaps youll be able to appreciate the way in which the rest of the apartment gracefully allows the Stone Room to bask in its opulence.
Simple, but by no means boring, the walls of the quaint entrance hall are lined with paintings and drawings, which seem to be arranged almost categorically, creating a unique oceanic theme. Classic paintings of ships, boats and pebble decorated picture frames work well to highlight the impressive shell displays. Again, little trinkets dotted around do well to complete the relaxed atmosphere.
Although the two bedrooms are uncluttered they are cozy and full of personality. As with the rest of the apartment, artwork hangs strikingly on the walls, with knick-knacks placed among some vintage chairs or tables to add to the character. And, with the sounds of the world bustling by, one can easily slip into the dream world that this apartment so obviously represents."

I highly recommend this beautifull place to stay and thanks for hospitality to hosts.
See you hopefully..:)
I had a great stay for four days in this big and cosy appartement! And a very good and helpful host!
Enjoyed my stay in Athens! Nice apartment with all the amenities, I was even able to my laundry.
Sofia's place is a really unique and artsy flat that is super close to the metro station (Metaxourgeio). Street signs in Athens aren't very well marked so the only difficult part was orienting ourselves to the right direction, but after that, it's just about 2 blocks walk to the flat. The front door is in an alley way that doesn't look too appealing, but it wasn't a problem. Sofia was there when we arrived, showed us around, and let us talk to her son on the phone (who had a stronger command of English) to sort out the few questions we had about giving back keys when we left (just pop them through the mail slot). The flat we stayed in was on the 2nd floor. The space itself was huge with high ceilings - about 3 separate bedrooms, plus a bathroom, and kitchen. Also, if you happen to take any of the open top bus tours of Athens, one of the stops is actually just outside the metro. All in all a great place to stay as a place for exploring the city!
Vasilis (Sofia's son) was as before very helpful and also interesting to talk to. The flat is a quirky collection of interesting items and an interesting place to (website hidden) was clean and pleasant and now one more bedroom has airconditioning, a must in Athens Summer heat.
We stayed in Athens just one night. The location of the apartment was very convenient for us as the next day we wanted to visit the Archeological Museum and then reach the Terminal A to take a bus for Peloponneso. Vasilis vas very kind and helpful.
My experience at the Cozy home was great. The place really is cozy with many personal touches that made it a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The place was very clean and the bathroom was one of the nicest I saw in all of Greece. There is a full kitchen with dishes and some appliances which I thought was very convenient if I didn't want to eat out every meal. Sofia and her son Vasilis are both very welcoming and Vasilis was exceptionally helpful with directions, suggestions of activities, and arranging my ride to the bus station to catch my flight. The place is fairly easy to find from the Metaxourgio metro station, although the area is not the nicest. The location is the only reason I am not giving the place 5 stars. I never felt unsafe there by any means, but I wouldn't want to be out at night by myself. However, in terms of accessibility to downtown, the location is great.
The flat was as advertised and very clean. Sofia was a great host and meet me at the train station despite it running a bit late.
The location is a little tricky to find but is well connected to public transport.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Sofia and would happily recommend the flat to anyone.
Sofia, and her son are both very nice. After giving me directions to their home, they offered to pick me up from the bus stop. Sofia cooked pancakes for everyone, which was very good! The home, is decorated wit a lot of cool things. If I had a problem with anything Sofia's son was very helpful, and often tried to fix things immediately.
Sofia does not speak English, so you'll mostly be speaking with her son. The place does have internet but it only works in the kitchen which can be inconvenient. The beds aren't too comfortable. but overall it was a good stay, for a good price.
