The space
Hello,
Greetings from Jaisalmer!

I am Kapil and belong to a village deep inside Jaisalmer, called Kahla. I bring to you a life time experience - a chance to stay inside a heritage building of my ancestors who lived in the Fort. This is one of the very few living forts in the world built in 1155AD. There was a time back in history, when this was the city of Jaisalmer itself. My motto is to show you this rare piece of history, a UNESCO world heritage site and give you a chance to stay inside it.
I promise, you will find this uniquely interesting, enriching and one of its kind place to stay, that I have personally decorated with our own family antique artefacts.

5000 people who worked with the Maharaja are still living here inside having been gifted this piece of history.

My team and I have tried to build a one of its kind experience for you. A world class heritage monument, a rare opportunity to stay inside and an experience that’s to be lived throughout the year, esp the Festival of Lights - Diwali or Christmas and New Years.

I welcome you !

Pls read below some useful tips and instructions.
1: In high season like Diwali and Christmas/New Years, taxi’s are not allowed inside so you may have to walk 500-700 meters.
2: The doors, stairways are narrow and low in height.
3: There are enough eateries and world cuisines inside the fort, all rated and reviewed by TripAdvisor.
