  • Sorry it has taken me a while to write this as we have just now settled back in at home. Linda Gail and Gonzalo were friendly and helpful hosts. They gave us useful tips about activities in La Paz which we really appreciated. They provide a very thorough guidebook in the apartment. Our accommodations were excellent and everything was as described: very comfortable, clean, quiet and within walking distance of the places we wanted to see in La Paz. We stayed an extra night as a refuge from pretty rough accommodations we had elsewhere when we went to see the gray whales. Breakfast was excellent. They were having a bit of a challenge with their maids; on 2 different days they took our towels but didn't leave us any fresh ones. (Pretty easily corrected though.) I would definitely stay there again if I were going to La Paz. Thanks Linda Gail!

  • This was a great place, right in the center of La Paz. The suite was very nice and spacious and had a great view of the Sea of Cortez. Breakfast by the pool - with fruit, eggs, coffee, fresh juices, etc... - was wonderful. Linda, her family and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

  • We stayed during the Mexican celebration, “Día de la Revolución” on November 20, 2012. Because this complex is only one block off the Malecón (waterfront walk and the parade route) in a convenient old town location, we had easy access to all. The condo was clean with great views of the of bay. Linda is a wonderful hostess. Her knowledge of the area including detailed lists of things to see and do and suggestions of where to eat were most helpful. A filling breakfast was included. She also checked and quickly took care of an air conditioner problem in our unit. We would stay here again because of the convenience - leave the car parked in their garage and walk .

About
I've been married and lived in La Paz for 31 yrs. My husband is a local boy and we operate The Posada Colibri Bed and Breakfast Inn and The Las Gaviotas Resort, both in the old downtown area of La Paz, in Lower Baja, Mexico. Our three children are grown and we have traveled extensively around the world. We frequently visit the US and Canada. We have always enjoyed myriad outdoor activities and sports in the area and are also avaition buffs. We own and fly a helicopter and motorcycles and are members of several community clubs including, The local pilot's club, a motorcycle club, and The Early Risers community club. In our businesses we aim to give personal attention to our guests and frequently enjoy conversations with them during breakfast as all of our rooms are rented with "a complete breakfast included". We try to be helpful in answering any questions guests have about the area or in helping them arrange for the activities they wish to enjoy.
