This pier is a great place to walk with an ice cream cone from La Fuente. Did you ever hear of corn ice cream? They have dozens of flavors all made at their store.

Our location is convenient, in an old traditional neighborhood not far from the old downtown and very close to the waterfront promenade knows as El Malecon. Our five story building has a modern elevator and our suites have the best views in town.

Our two bedroom, two bath condos with big covered terraces each enjoy a wide ocean view and are furnished like home with well equipped kitchens. Our heated pool is long enough to swim laps in and is well protected from the winter sea breezes. Breakfast is served poolside from 8 to 10am. Your hosts, myself, Gail Theurel, and my husband, Gonzalo, will share travel advice and tips to help you make the most of your visit to our area. See our guest's comments on www.tripadvisor, then contact us direct to make your reservations.

It is common for guests to meet and mingle over breakfast. They are a good source of travel info for one another and conversation is often interesting and even facinating.

Other things to note

The best seafood in the world can be enjoyed here in La Paz and it doesn't have to be expensive. There are amazing taco stands where you can enjoy fish, shrimp, mantaray, marlin, octopus, lobster, etc. etc., all in a taco. Our beaches, although out of town, are really beautiful. Don't miss out on snorkeling or kayaking if that is something you enjoy. Scuba diving and fishing are also popular. We also have a beautiful island that you should visit if at all possible. Espiritu Santo Island, accessible by boat is a wonderful day-trip. We send our guests with the best tour company and the best guides. Ask us if you are interested. We highly recommend it and guarantee it will be a highlight of your visit to La Paz.

The apartments at Los Gaviotas Resort are spacious and comfortable and located within walking distance of La Paz's marinas, finest restaurants, and charming city center. Linda and team were warm hosts, very accommodating and throughly flexible as our party transitioned through our 10 day stay. Linda and her husband gave us excellent advice regarding excursions, hiking oppotunities, fishing, and restaurants. The lovely breakfast they prepared each morning poolside featured Mexican eggs and fresh baked bread and homemade jam and jelly. Truly a memorable way to spend the holidays with my family and friends.

Linda Gail's hospitality is what made our trip so special. She was so friendly and incredibly helpful. She set us up on an amazing day trip to an island where we swam with the sea lions, ate ceviche on the beach and saw beautiful coves, wildlife, and lots of turquoise water! We we very comfortable in our suite with a beautiful view, however it was so big, we would have preferred a one bedroom for just the two of us. Very clean, quiet and safe. There is also a garage to park your car in. The icing on the cake was the little fish restaurant next door yet attached to the hotel. Some of the best food I have had! At first it seemed a bit weird to have fish tacos for breakfast, however that feeling only lasted a minute. I could hardly wait to wake up and try something new for breakfast (all seafood) each morning! We highly recommend Linda Gail and Gonzalo's Hotel/Bed and Breakfast in La Paz and can hardly wait to go back!

Gail did a wonderful job of hosting us in La Paz. Her recommendations on tours and restaurants were great, the place was super clean and indoor parking was included. She even gave us certificates for the restaurant at the hotel, which we used gladly. The food and service was excellent

The room was lovely and exactly as described. The kitchen was fully appointed with a microwave, stove, fridge, coffee maker, and kettle. The pantry had coffee and black tea (the latter we found impossible to find in Baja Sur). Getting into secure parking requires a quick run into the office to ask for an open gate but easy enough. We had a minivan and there was more than enough room to maneuver and unload. The hotel restaurant was very good and had some of the best seafood tacos we've had in Baja. Service from the hotel and restaurant staff was friendly and prompt. The pool was very nice and had a nice sun deck. Location was a block above the Malecon so conveniently located to restaurants and services. All in all a lovely stay!
