Julie was an "above and beyond" hostess. I rented her place in Louisville, KY for Derby weekend. The house was as described and very comfortable! She even added a bed downstairs which my 80-year old dad took because the stairs were more of a challenge than he cared to do at the end of the day. Julie was in constant contact before and during our stay. She did a lot of pre-event research and found shuttle transportation for us to and from the derby. The house is located with-in walking distance of a busy, little "main" street where there were more restaurants than we could explore in our 3 day stay. I would go back and stay there in a heartbeat.
My friend and I rented Julie's place for three weeks while working in Louisville. I would absolutely recommend it. It is in a trendy area called the Highlands where real estate is sought after. There are lots of shops, restaurants and cafes an easy walk or drive. The house itself has the wonderful solid feel of a home built in the 30's. It was updated with good lighting and carpet and more of an open floor plan. The homes are close together but there always seems to be enough parking on the street. It has a perfect front porch. It was clean and cared for.
Julie was away and I didn't meet her but in our communications she was warm and welcoming. She was generous with whatever was there in the house to use.
