A cool, cozy guest house with a rustic aesthetic, 1 bedroom guest house with everything. A 15 minute walk to SoBe. and 10 minute walk to the beautiful beaches in a very quiet neighborhood.
Quaint and homey feeling. Will comfortably fit 2 people.******* Ive added some furniture and decorations since the pictures were taken so its a little more comfortable feeling inside. Also, the house itself is at least 80 years old, so if you're expecting a brand new, luxury condo, you should probably book elsewhere. Treat this space like you're staying at a friend of a friends' house. Its not the Ritz, which also happens to be not too far away..
Parking included, pet friendly, and also have a washer and dryer to use, and mini grill.
Interaction with Guests
I will most likely be home while the guests are here, little to no interaction would be preferred but I am willing to do anything to make the guests comfortable.
Quiet, not much traffic in front of the house, lots of friendly neighbors walking their dogs, very close to the beach, you can bike there in 4 minutes or so, and the convention center, lincoln rd, historic south beach,.
Parking included, otherwise its a super convenient place to stay, cab service is always 5 minutes away or less if you don't have a car.
Other Things to Note
I have a nintendo 64 with two controllers and ALOT of games if that suits anyones fancy for some late night fun i can include that in the guest house as well.
Pets are okay if potty trained, smoking (cigarettes) prohibited indoors. Basically, treat the house with respect as you would your own but have a party if you want im very relaxed and its YOUR vacation
Joseph is an excellent host and his place is just as described on the listing: comfortable, spacious, great location!
Joseph responded quickly to my messages and he was incredibly flexible.
We already told him that when we go back to Miami Beach, we'd love to stay at his place again!
The house was exactly as described by Joseph, we had a good time staying here for a week in February '15. It's a quiet neighborhood with the beach in walking distance. We found it convenient to have a car to go around easily.
The biggest plus was the neighborhood. It was safe, quiet, and beautiful. The beach was a 5-8 minute walk and we found a great cuban restaurant nearby- Tropical Beach Cafe.
This isn't a hotel by any means so don't stay here if you need hotel-like amenities (hair dryer, coffee maker, etc) but if you're looking for a bed to crash in after being at the beach this is a good place to do it!
Joseph was very nice and got back to me quickly every time I texted him. Great wifi.
Just what we were expecting! Took a weekend to get out of town and this was perfect. An easy bike ride to the beach and a short drive to Lincoln where there is tons of shopping and outdoor eating. Joseph was great with our time schedule and was always available via text. An enjoyable stay with everything you need for a weekend stay.
Cute guest house, great location. It pretty much has everything one could need on a laid back beach holiday, including free parking which is great if you are renting a car. Joseph is very quick to respond, super easy going and nice. Thank you!
Joseph was friendly and accomodating. The price was right for a basic little house. It is located in a private and quiet area yet close enough to walk for a bite to eat. Cab or driving for busier areas in Miami Beach. It was convenient for doggies with a small fenced yard area and park nearby.
Great place to stay in Miami Beach. Very private. Wifi included. Close to the beach and nearby supermarket. Joseph was a great host. Very flexible and prepare. Highly recommended
I grew up in rural Illinois, 40 miles east of St Louis. I have lived in Miami Beach for 5 years now and I am very down to earth and a super chill guy. I am 24 years old and a student. I have two chocolate Pointer twin dogs. I major in English Ed and Literature. I do a lot of creative writing as well, and the occasional light reading I am very easy going, awesome sense of humor and all around a very nice and caring person. I play drums, and love music, mostly anything with a beat. I also enjoy movies, some of my personal favorites are Mrs. Doubtfire, Jurassic Park, Shaun of the Dead and The Great Outdoors. and video games. I am very athletic and go running a lot, ice skate and try to play sports when there's time. I love South Park, Family Guy, Jon Stewart and anything on HBO as far as series go, I like to watch Kitchen Nightmares a lot also, I can't get enough of Gordon's insults.
I don't really have a life motto, but basically i never take anything too serious, because life is too short to get mad or upset for something stupid. I like to go out to bars around the area or go to the beach and drink every so often.
