About this listing
A cool, cozy guest house with a rustic aesthetic, 1 bedroom guest house with everything. A 15 minute walk to SoBe. and 10-15 minute walk to the beautiful beaches in a very quiet and safe neighborhood.
Quaint and homey feeling. Will comfortably fit 2 people.******* I've added some furniture and decorations since the pictures were taken so its a little more comfortable feeling inside. ***Also, the house itself is at least 80 years old, so if you're expecting a brand new, luxury condo, you should probably book elsewhere. there are minor cracks in the tile and some of ceiling because the age of the unit. Treat this space like you're staying at a friend of a friends' house. ***Its not the Ritz, which also happens to be not too far away; or the W and pay 4x the price.
Parking included, pet friendly, and also have a washer and dryer to use, and mini grill and a picnic basket with a wine holder for the park near by. I have an inflatable 1 man kayak anyone's welcome to use.
Interaction with Guests
I will most likely be home while the guests are here, little to no interaction would be preferred but I am willing to do anything to make the guests comfortable.
Quiet, not much traffic in front of the house, lots of friendly neighbors walking their dogs, very close to the beach, you can bike there in 4 minutes or so, and the convention center, lincoln rd, historic south beach,.
Parking included, otherwise its a super convenient place to stay, cab service is always 5 minutes away or less if you don't have a car.
Other Things to Note
I have a nintendo 64 with two controllers and ALOT of games if that suits anyones fancy for some late night fun i can include that in the guest house as well.
Pets are okay if potty trained, smoking (cigarettes) prohibited indoors. Basically, treat the house with respect as you would your own but have a party if you want im very relaxed and its YOUR vacation
About the Host, Joseph
DUM DUM DUMMMM. profile redux! I'm Joey, I am 25 years old and currently a college student at Miami Dade College, my focus is to eventually get a teaching degree in English to teach people ESL around the world. I have hosted a lot of people on here now and I love the experience, meeting and interacting with people from all over the world and I can say that most people, no matter where they are from are basically all very kind and similar is those respects but I love it because right now I can't travel the world, so the world travels to me! I love Ice hockey ( to watch and play), I run, kayak, play with my dogs, go to the beach all very often. I also have cats which you will meet if you stay here, they are all very sweet and obese. I am usually a very giddy and hyper, cheerful and have an awesome, (somewhat dark) sense of humor. I'm not always around the house and don't see my guests very often but I am always willing to go out and get a few drinks with anyone staying! I really love any movie or music to do with the early 90's; Nintendo 64 and Original Playstation i use more than the Xbox 360 haha. I like comedy, I always wanted to be a comedian but just never have tried it, so I usually just watch comedy central a lot or HBO; SHOTIME stuff. But I grew up in Illinois for most of my life, but now I'm back in florida and hopefully i don't ever have to leave haha, I can't stand the cold anymore.
