Gloria is an amazing host. She is welcoming and very nice. Her apartment is lovely. The room and space was clean and tidy. The location was great. Less than 30 minutes walk from the TIFF center, 5 minutes walk from Kensington market, nearby good restaurants. I would definitively recommend you to stay with Gloria.
Thank you so much again for Gloria. The apartment was clean and she was very very helpful. The place is located right in downtown so I didn't even bother to take transportations. Gloria showed me around so many good places and I really really appreciate her kindness and hospitality. I enjoyed so much that I didn't even wanted to leave Canada. I will definitely spend some more nights at her apartment if i have chance! Thank you again so much for everything Gloria!! I miss that chicken again lol
Gloria was a great host! I felt at home the minute I walked in. The place was kept very tidy and clean and was kept that way throughout my lengthy stay. The location was as perfect for a first time visitor as it was close to many tourist destinations. I found it very convenient to get to where I needed to go.
I was delighted to find out that Gloria was a fellow TCK. There isn't very many of us, so it's always nice to share life stories with one another. :) I'd highly recommend her and her well located apt to anyone looking to stay in Toronto.
Gloria is a lovely woman full of kindness.
She made everything possible to make me feel comfortable and I did feel like home sweet home.
Her place was very pleasant to live. Very clean, well taken and very convenient. There is nothing lacking.
The house (building) is plenty of charm thanks to the very friendly neighbors.
The location is perfect, in the very heart Toronto downtown core, with the wonderful Kensington Market next door with best groceries and artisanal products of the city.
I liked Toronto, but now I LOVE it, tanks to Gloria.
I had a great time staying with Gloria - her apartment is situated in a great location in the heart of Chinatown within easy walking / subway distance of everything that you are likely want to see and do in Downtown Toronto. Although the apartment building can look a little old from the outside, the apartment itself is lovely and tastefully decorated and looks exactly like the pictures on the AirBnB site. The bedroom is compact but with more than enough space for two people and luggage. However, probably the best thing about my stay was getting to know Gloria: she was an excellent host who was friendly and full of interesting stories as well as helpful suggestions about what to do in Toronto. If you're looking for a friendly, affordable and conveniently located base from which to explore Downtown, I would definitely recommend staying here!
Top location. Close to Kensington Market, Chinatown and walking distance from Downtown. Clean, welcoming apartment. Although she was working and I didn't see too much of her Gloria seems to be a very interesting and worldly person. I would recommend her as a host wholeheartedly!
This was my first time with Airbnb and it was an amazing experience. The room was nice, clean, the apartment is very cute and cozy, full special things and just next to Kensington Market and easy to go around. I loved the energy and the decoration. But most of all, Gloria was an incredible host, she was warm, helpful and very very nice. Gracias Gloria!!!
About the Host, Gloria
I have been living in Toronto since 2004. Although I have my family living far away, every chance I get, I try to spend it with them. Travel is a very important part of my life. I grew up living in different countries and had the opportunity to build relationships with people from different cities and cultures so I always enjoy meeting new people as I wander the globe! I appreciate authentic experiences wherever I go without too much of the tourist costs that drain my budget. It is because of this that I enjoy sharing my space conveniently located in a bustling part of Toronto. I graduated from art school and love anything from sculpture, installation art, photography, film and design. I enjoy live music, cooking and trying great restaurants in the city too!
