Lovely, friendly hosts; a beautiful place to stay. Marvelous breakfast! We enjoyed our stay very much with the Mahe family. They are warm and welcoming and a pleasure to meet.
An authentic French stay in a country town. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A charming and graceful accommodation in a spacious garden setting.
The hosts Isabelle and Yannick were so warm and friendly and made our stay in Chaudenay an enjoyable memory we will not forget.
Philippe Le Good was an absolutely incredible and beautiful oasis. It made the Burgundy portion of our trip our absolute favorite. The maison and grounds were stunning, our room was lovely and comfortable, and Virginie and her family were delightful hosts. We truly felt like we were living in a fairy tale. It was so hard to leave! Breakfast was delicious, and we loved the free bike rental. Their outdoor kitchen also made it easy for us to grab a bottle of wine or ice cream on the fly while lounging in the backyard. We can't recommend this place enough!!!
We had an awesome experience with Anne and Bruce. We wanted to tour Burgundy and this was a perfect location to visit the beautiful wine regions. Bruce was an awesome host and offered informative suggestions on places to check out as this was my second time around the Burgundy area. This was a beautiful country home that we will have fond memories of.
Our stay could not have been better - lovely hosts, comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfasts - we felt like we were right at home. Anne went above and beyond and arranged for dinner for us each night, even providing directions to every restaurant. We would return in a heartbeat.
Wow, our best Airbnb experience yet! After having a difficult time choosing a place to stay (Burgundy is such a wonderful area with so many great hotels and B&Bs), we were so glad we chose to stay with Bruce and Anne in their picturesque French "Maison". The pictures really don't do their place or the experience justice. Due to our children and availability, they upgraded us to a larger room and made us feel right at home: everything is very well organized, with instructions where everything is. The house itself has a few extras-make sure you check out the wine press room and gardens. The best part of the deal was definitely their homemade insider's tip book-its almost worth staying just for that! Has great recommendations on what to see, where to eat and shop. Honestly, if you are looking for the full Burgundy experience, look no further!
We absolutely loved Anne and Bruce's maison in the picturesque village of Chaudenay. It was the perfect place to base ourselves to then explore all the wine villages around Beanue.
All the correspondence in the lead up to our visit was clear and efficient and once we arrived we were made to feel right at home by their warmth and kindness. Anne and Bruce were incredibly accommodating (going out of their way to cater for my gluten intolerance and allowing us to arrive much earlier than first scheduled) and were so helpful with tips and advice for the area. They have bikes you can use to cycle through the gorgeous vineyards. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and hope to return again one day. Merci Anne & Bruce!
