Our relaxing one bedroom apartment over looks Enscenada Honda Bay which gives you a true Island feeling. It comfortably fits two and it is located on a quiet area, just a short car ride away from the most beautiful beach in the world.

The space

Hi friends
Thank you for your interest in Green Villas Seastar. Seastar is an air conditioned studio with private bathroom beach-style villa overlooking beautiful Ensenada Honda Bay. It is between town (a 10 minute walk) and beautiful, secluded, safe Soldado Beach. Sitting on its’ balcony for meals, reading, talking and watching the sailboats and colorful fisherman boats come in and out of the bay is unique. Maybe if you get lucky you may watch the occasional pirate ship or yatch. It sleeps 2 people. I have great prices for longer stays.

The kitchen is fully equipped, making for great savings, with regular size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and blender. It has pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. Also comes with a beach cooler.

Seastar has access to 2 private loading docks. You may go swimming, fishing or sun tanning by the water.

Everything in Culebra is close being 7 x 3 miles. You can take taxis for $2-3.00/person almost anywhere. You may also rent cars, scooters, bicycles and kayaks. When you rent I will help with all your rental needs, beaches, places to go, restaurants, etc. I look forward to your communication. Gaby Castro, owner

Cleanliness: 1 of 5 No towels, and one thin dirty mattress and sheet. Kitchen reeked of mold and roaches. Accuracy: 2 of 5 Not what we expected, but I think most of the reasonably priced places in Culebra are like this. Value: 3 of 5 No Cooler was available for us so we had to rent one. And luckily the couple that was staying directly adjacent to us left so we could use the 2 beach chairs that were to be shared among at least 2 units, likely more. Deck in photos is somewhat shared. No privacy if other unit is occupied. Location: 4 of 5 Good location and great view.

The view of this place was incredible. Looking out over palm trees and water, with a hammock to lay in to take in the views. The space itself was very basic. Not newly updated, but we didn't mind because there's so much to do on the island, it's not like we spent much time there anyway! We liked the location because it was quiet and away from the hustle, but too far to walk to anything, so if you do stay here plan to rent a jeep or a golf cart (SO much fun,) so you can easily travel around the island. (I also suggest making a reservation for these in advance because they will actually pick you up from the ferry.) The only real problem we had was that check out is listed at 12:00 on the Airbnb info page and in the private message that was sent to me from Gaby. But the property manger insisted it was 11:00 and even after we showed her where it said 12:00, she still said it was wrong and tried to have us move our bags out early. We had to stand and debate this for several minutes before she agreed to let us check out at 12:00. So this maybe needs to be clarified or updated on the website. Overall it was a pleasant stay and if the price were lowered a bit, I would definitely stay again.

Seeing the photos before we were expecting a bit better place. The terrace was the nicest place and the views are great. There's also a kitchen with appliances, though we didn't use it. The maintenance how ever could be better. There are two doors, but the other one didn't work properly. The shower drain didn't work well, there were gaps between the mosquito screens and the wall (after all we're talking about an area with possible dengue and zika) and we got bitten during the night. There are big cob webs in the bathroom cealing with dead flies hanging there and on the last morning we found a dead cockroach on the floor. The wifi signal was quite poor and didn't work all the time. According to the discription there should've been a beach cooler in the apt, but wasn't and we asked about it but didn't get one during our stay so we rented one from the town. Also shampoo was missing. It's a lovely island but I have to say I wouldn't stay again in this appartment.

I love Culebra and Old San Juan. In Culebra I go boating, kayaking, bicycle riding, snorkeling, dancing and doing nothing by the water. I spend time with friends cooking and having a drink. In Old San Juan I love the architecture with its' historic feeling. trying to choose where to eat is always hard since there are so many great choices. The music, dancing and bars round everything up. I also enjoy training to stay in shape. I am always open to making new friends. I spend time with friends regularly in San Juan
