Hi friends: Thank you for your interest in Panorama. Panorama is a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom air conditioned beach-style villa overlooking beautiful Ensenada Honda Bay. It is between town (a 15 minute walk) and beautiful, secluded, safe Soldado Beach. Sitting on its’ balcony for meals, reading, talking and watching the sailboats and colorful fisherman boats come in and out of the bay is unique. Maybe if you get lucky you may watch the occasional pirate ship or yatch. It sleeps 6-10 people. Price/night is $299 + 7% tax most of the year. I have great prices for longer stays. It can also be rented for less people. You get access to the whole house except the extra rooms.
The 2 kitchens are fully equipped, making for great savings, with regular size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and blender. It has pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. Also comes with a beach cooler. Inquire about our kayak and bicycles.
Panorama has access to 2 nearby private loading docks. You may go boating, swimming, fishing or sun tanning by the water.
Everything in Culebra is close being 7 x 3 miles. You can take taxis for $4-5.00/person almost anywhere. You may also rent cars, scooters, bicycles and kayaks. Enjoy Flamenco Beach. When you rent I will help with all your rental needs, beaches, places to go, restaurants, etc. Please feel free to e-mail or call me (phone number hidden) anytime for any help. I look forward to your communication. Gaby Castro, owner
Panorama has a fantastic view, that is it's strong point. The unit itself needs some updating, some windows had screens missing or shutters that didn't open, so when we got heavy rain the bedroom felt damp for the rest of our stay. The rain also came in through the roof to the living/kitchen area. It just needs some renovating to make it a fantastic place but right now it is a little 'rough and ready'.
The location is about a 20 minute walk to the little town and restaurants. You'll need to hire a jeep or golf cart to get from here to the beaches on the island.
This is a beautiful house with a great location, but for the price point we felt it was lacking some basic necessities.
the beds were all very comfortable and the AC was strong. Incredible view and moments from downtown Culebra. We were able to check in early and the house was very clean.
Unfortunately we were disappointed in the items lacking. For the price we paid, we should have some basic necessities. For example, the kitchen is not equipped enough for cooking. There were two plastic butter knives left for our use, they didn't even leave us normal silverware. There are no dish towels or paper towels. we had to use bath towels for clean up, and we were only left one bath towel per person. Good thing we packed our own beach towels! But still, for the price we paid we should have more than 4 towels. We tried to cook pizza one night and didn't even have a hot pad to pull the pizza from the oven. My husband ended up grabbing his board shorts that were drying on the porch to pull the pizza out.
No Internet! Gaby gave me the "I've been waiting for it to be installed for months, they're on island time" excuse. I live in Vieques. I understand Puerto Rican island time very well, and i know how long it takes to get internet installed. Once again, for the price point a property should have internet.
We ran out of toilet paper after 2 nights.
So, like I said, we loved the house and location and view, but when you start charging as much as we paid we expect a certain level of comfort and attention to details. If the price point had been lower I wouldn't have been so upset.
This was the perfect place for my group of 8! We stayed for a week and all agreed we hope to return.
Checking in and finding the place was easy. There was plenty of room for us all, it was great to have the big fridge and kitchen space with all the dishware we would need!
Each bedroom was nice and private and has its own bathroom/shower. Everything was clean and comfortable.
The view of the bay is beautiful, as well as the stars from the top level deck! Post-beach hammock naps? YES!
Location-wise also ideal, we rented two golf carts and went all over the island.
Like I said, we all had a blast and loved staying at Panorama!
The house is located 5 minutes from restaurants and grocery store and the view is great. However, I was very disappointed to find out that the pictures of the house are outdated and misleading. The house was very dirty when we arrived with dead roaches on the floor and live roaches in the kitchen cabinet and bedrooms. Our contact on the island (Maritza) said she cleaned the house prior our arrival but the house was full of spider webs and dust and some sheets were stained. Maritza also mentioned that the roaches were coming from outside (which just confirms how dirty the house is) and she offered to apply some bug spray in the house. She refused to clean the house saying that she had already cleaned the house and that the place was not a hotel. Unlike other Airbnb rentals, there were no basic cooking stuff (salt, oil) and there were only 2 knives in the kitchen for 7 people.
Also, the roof needs some work because it rained inside the house (on the dining table and on the kitchen floor).
I was disappointed with the owner for not taking any action regarding the dirtiness of the house. I'm used to beach houses and I'm aware they are not pristine clean, but the house was far from clean. I have several pictures to demonstrate that.
The place was fantastic. I came with 8 of my closest friends and had everything we could ever want. There is not much to walk to, so I would recommend renting a car or golf cart.
Definitely would stay here again.
This is a great place for the money! A great view, short drive from bars and restaurants, and just out far enough to be in a quieter area where you can see the stars at night! The three bedrooms, two on main level and one upstairs, are all accessible via the outside porch/stairs. They all have AC and bathrooms attached. The property is a little more worn than what is reflected in the photos, but had no issues with it. Hot water was great when it worked, about 50% of the time. Also Gaby was helpful in allowing us an early check in due to no one renting it the night before.
Nice home in a great location with beautiful views of the bay. The home layout worked perfect, allowing plenty of space for couples to be on their own or meet up together in the kitchen/living room area. The air conditioners worked great, and the rooms & bathrooms were clean. The kitchen had necessary utensils/pots/pans/etc., however it was lacking basic condiments. Overall, it was a great trip and we can't wait to come back again...and stay for a longer time!

I love Culebra and Old San Juan. In Culebra I go boating, kayaking, bicycle riding, snorkeling, dancing and doing nothing by the water. I spend time with friends cooking and having a drink. In Old San Juan I love the architecture with its' historic feeling. trying to choose where to eat is always hard since there are so many great choices. The music, dancing and bars round everything up. I also enjoy training to stay in shape. I am always open to making new friends. I spend time with friends regularly in San Juan
