Hi! This is an amazing 500 sq foot studio in the heart of the best neighborhood in NYC.
Amenities are all brand new as I recently furnished the entire apt myself. The floors are beautiful hardwood, and they were redone before I moved in. The living room is fully equipped; 3 seater reclining couch, wireless internet, MASSIVE 55" Samsung flat screen HDTV with full cable with DVR/HBO, electronic fireplace entertainment unit, wireless receiver that is Airplay compatible and wired to a Dolby 5.1 system, and a small table with 2 chairs
Sleeping area is quite large with a queen size bed (brand new), 800 thread count linens from Macy's hotel collection, and a separate TV for bedtime watching.
The kitchen is recently rennovated with dishwasher, stove, microwave, full size frige, and a small set of plates, wine glasses, and cups. I do not have a lot of cookware, so if you plan on making dinner a lot, that may be an issue.
Bathroom is large with plenty of room and significant closet space outside to fit a full wardrobe. There is laundry in the building and it works with a card.
There is a small overpriced market around the corner, but they have everything you could ever need. Dry cleaning and grocery store are also within 2 blocks.
House rules; no parties, no pets, no kids, no smoking. non-negotiable. This is a nice space, and I intend to keep it that way for a long time. 2 people max at all times. Ideally looking for single travelers or couples.
Please email with request of dates as claendar is updated, but I would like to initiate a conversation before confirming booking with anyone. Additional pictures are being taken now and will be available for review soon. Thanks for looking, and good luck with the search!!

I am always available by email for any questions or concerns.
The West Village is arguably the best neighborhood in NYC with quiet tree-lined streets, hundreds of quaint bars and world-class restaurants and conveniently located close to public transportation.
The closest subway stop is on 14th street and 8th avenue. This is the ACE line, and it is about a 7-8 minute walk from the apartment.
Please see the posting;
I have a relationship with a manager in the building, and you will be told to leave if any of the above are violated
The studio was clean and nice and exactly as described and pictured. Jeff was great to allow me a last minute booking. .. thank you!
Extremely nice and roomy studio by new York standards. High line and local restaurants and shopping and walking around was fantastic! I tried to stay a second time but he was fully booked so book early.
I liked Jeffrey's apartment. It is exactly like the pictures show, and the bathroom has a good size to NYC standards. I didn't get to meet Jeffrey at all, we spoke on the phone a few times and exchanged texts, but everything went smoothly when I arrived, I was greeted by his doorman and went up. After a very small (and workable) issue with the key, I had a hilarious misunderstanding with Jeffrey about the wifi password (LOL! I won't go in detail now) but that also got worked out pretty quickly. He owns quite an entertainment system! I can't rate it because I didn't turn the TV on at all during my trip but if you like home entertainment, you will like this apartment even more. Bed is big and comfortable. Shower is strong and hot water comes immediately. Nice closet space. Clean everything, towels and linens included. The location is very nice. I used to live in NYC and the Village has always been my favorite area. Closer than I thought to the Meatpacking district, which is my least favorite area but I know many people will disagree with me on this one because it is the trendiest area in Manhattan right now (and that is precisely why I can't stand it - but that's just ME!).
Not only I recommend Jeffrey's apartment, but I will rent it again myself for my next upcoming trip.
Jeffrey provided a perfect place for our stay in New York. His apartment was clean and we felt totally at home. There was nothing we needed. We were comfortable and loved our surroundings. We were in a charming neighborhood, near yummy restaurants and shops, the Highline, bars, etc. Jeffrey recommended several places for us to go and we discovered several new ones on our own. (We enjoyed the Fig and the Olive, Tavern on Jane, Eataly, and discovered the Bruffin at the Gansevoort Market. You must try one!) Yes, there is a noisy road outside his window, but HEY, we're in New York! Of course there will be noise! We would recommend Jeffrey's apartment to anyone who would want to 'live' in New York City rather than be a tourist.
Great apartment in a great location. The apartment is clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay, Jeff is a very helpful host and even provided a list of recommended restaurants and bars.
My partner and I decided to stay at Jeffrey's apartment due to the amazing location. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops on your door step. You'll be spoilt for choice!
All the top locations are in close proximity (around 2 miles) We walked everywhere! If you aren't feeling as energetic as us then there is a tube station about 10 minutes walk away which is very cheap!!
Or if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city lifestyle then the 'high line' is just around the corner. A good place to chill if it's getting a little bit hectic!
As for the apartment. This was exactly like the pictures. Very spacious, clean with 2 big TVs and everything you need. The 24 hour doormen are also very friendly day and night.
I would definitely recommend staying here, we had an amazing time and this was a great base for exploring the city!
Jeff's apartment is a great space in a a great location. Spacious, comfortable, clean and stylish. It has a fantastic TV and sound system. Really good instructions are provided with excellent information about the area and places to eat.
It's location is perfect for exploring the West Village, Chelsea, and just round the corner from the High Line - an amazing urban park that is a must see. There are loads of local bars and restaurants around and decent access to the Metro for the rest of New York.
A view out to the Hudson River is a bonus.
A few extra bits in the kitchen would make it more useful for visitors.
I visit NYC a lot...this is my 4th visit this year. I have used (website hidden) and other sites and have had great experiences in the past. I like the area where the property is located and I do think the pictures fairly represent the inside. However this apartment is on the 2nd floor overlooking a very busy road--day and night you will hear cars speeding by. Fortunately, the cars are whipping by fast, so we didn't hear horns blowing or anything like that, but it was LOUD. Also, during our visit the AC was not working well, it seemed to be very low on Freon or something. Out of courtesy, we had done as the owner asked and didn't leave the unit running while we were out during the day but it was very uncomfortable sleeping. I notified the owner the next day and he said he would contact the building maintenance but when we returned the evening there was no improvement. I emailed the host again asking if there was a fan or anything we could do to make it more bearable and said I would just leave the windows open as it was much cooler outside than inside but the traffic noise was truly unbearable to sleep in. He said he'd call the building again. Didn't improve, at last contact he indicated he didn't have a fan and although he knew it was loud with windows open we would essentially have to just deal with it. I ended up spending time out of our visit looking for a store that had fans and purchased one which did help. I was very disappointed at the host's lack of concern and action. He did email when we returned yesterday saying that his i-Phone charger plug was missing asking if we had taken it and then asked if the air situation had resolved itself. I have a guest house myself and would be very quick to deal with such a situation if my guests were too hot/cold and if I could not do something to fix it immediately, I would have offered a free night or a similar gesture for their time and inconvenience. He did offer to pay me for the fan and I declined. The location is good and the price is good but I would not return or recommend it to friends.
Dear valued guest,
I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay as much as you had hoped. As is clearly stated, the unit does have a beautiful view over the west side running trail and the Hudson River. The windows all have excellent soundproofing, and I have not had any issues with noise with the windows closed. As I stated in multiple emails, I did address the concern as soon you mentioned it. I talked directly to the building manager and to housekeeping. I had them check on the unit on 2 separate occasions, and when I arrived Friday, the apartment was quite comfortable and there were no issues with the wall unit. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience, and I hope you will allow me to make it up to you during a future visit.
