Sometimes I stil lcan hear the waves of the ocean in a silent night in the low season . Tulum is a new city and it's growing steadily. More people are coming to this paradise, and so the noise level is growing as well . Mexico is a lively and noisy country , life happens often on the streets . Dogs are here to guard houses , the cocks cry early in the morning and party starts usually at 11 pm ending a 4 am . AEROLITO is a quiet oasis in the center , four blocks away from the main strip . It depends from where the wind blows , and where the moon is , noise comes from outside into this paradise .

We really enjoyed our stay with Ariane. We felt very welcomed by her hospitality. Ariane provided us a map of Tulum with recommendations of restaurants, cenotes, where to rent a bike and how to get around.
Aerolito is only a few blocks from the ADO bus station, which also is the main taxi and collectivo stop. It is also walking distance to local taco stands and restaurants.
The property is a jungle landscape of cabanas, hammocks, trees and wildlife. We stayed in the tree house, comfortable with a nice bed, tables and chairs, outlets for charging, and a fan. Below was the communal kitchen, a nice place to meet fellow airbnb-ers. There's a fridge to store leftovers and beer, plus a stove if you feel like cooking. Bathroom was detached but dedicated for our room.
Ariane cooked a nice breakfast each morning. Coffee, fresh fruit and yogurt to start, then some eggs and salsa if we were still hungry. A nice touch and helped save a few pesos everyday instead of eating out.
Overall, a really special place that is true to the spirit of sharing someone's home.
the place was just as advertised and ariane spent time with us and made us a wonderful breakfast. thanks!
My husband and I enjoyed talking with Ariane and the other guests at breakfast. Ariane gave excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants (so much delicious, cheap Mexican food!) Aerolito is very convenient for catching the colectivo vans to the various beaches and cenotes along the highway.
Ariane was a wonderful host. She welcomed us and made us feel at home right away. Her place was easy to find despite not having any road signs. Her property is a dream, it feels like you're in the Yucatan jungle. The sounds of the birds, dogs, roosters, insects, etc... were soothing compared to the car horns and trucks were used to in NYC. We visited during the slow and rainy season so the weather was hot and humid. The room is perfect for a couple who wants to experience a local staying experience. Ariane was very nice to make us breakfast each day which we was very delicious and spicy. Her recommendations on restaurants and cenotes were the highlights of our trip. We can't wait to come to stay here again the next time we visit!
Ariane was a warm and welcoming host. Casa del Arbol was the perfect setting to get away from urban life and enjoy a little piece of the jungle and some quiet. A delicious and full breakfast was served each morning, and Ariane kindly connected me with her friend to get me a tour of a local nature reserve with a group of local Tulum residents. This was such a unique and special experience and I hope to return soon!
My 5 night stay at Aerolito was really wonderful! Ariane was a warm and welcoming host who went the extra mile to make sure my vacation was great and the breakfasts were delicious! I absolutely recommend Aerolito!
