We stayed in Viola's beautiful place for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated it. It was the perfect place to land after a long flight - wonderful view and everything we would need, especially with a young child who enjoyed all the books and toys and sleeping in the girls room. The place felt unique and interesting but very comfortable and inviting. We really enjoyed the area - much more relaxed and laid back than being in the centre - and it was great to be able to park our hire car in the garage. Highly recommend!
We stayed in Viola's house for 10 days and we loved it. The house is beautiful, clean, bright and in a quiet neighborhood. It is also vey comfortable and there is a great kitchen where we enjoyed breakfast every day. We highly recommed it.
We stayed in Viola's house for four days with our two children (one and three). The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It has a great kitchen, so it was very useful to come back early and feed dinner to the kids. There are plenty of toys for the children to play and they loved it! It is very nicely located, walking distance from all the shopping and restaurants in Noe Valley and the Castro. We really enjoyed it and we would love to stay there again.
This cozy, bright, clean, comfortable, quiet home was PERFECT for myself, husband, 5.5 year old son and 2 year old daughter. Viola was kind and very easy to communicate with. The home is lovely and true to the pictures. I don't remember seeing photos of the truly darling back garden. It was in bloom when we were there for Easter. We felt very lucky to have been able to stay there and hope to stay there again. I would recommend it without hesitation. The neighborhood is safe and parking is easy.

About the Host, Viola
I'm an ecologist and have lived and worked in San Francisco and West Marin for the last 10+ years. I live with my husband and two kids in the Castro. We occasionally rent out our beautiful home when we travel, and we rent our downstairs unit on weekends.
I'm happiest when my feet are on bare rock and my sights set on something distant - preferably an iceberg, a seal, a vast ocean, or the next mountain. Alternatively, I'm almost equally happy in my kitchen making stock and concocting the next culinary experiment.
