Other Things to Note
*Our insurance carrier requires that we have a signed rental agreement that includes driver’s license or passport information along with the names of all occupants and the ages of all children. Once a booking is made through Airbnb we will request that the guest provides us with their mailing address for processing the booking through our own reservation system which will enable us to process the rental agreement by email for digital signature.
*We have a unique rate structure. River Ridge Lodge is a 5 bedroom cabin. Our rates are based on total number of bedrooms required for the entire stay (each bedroom is double occupancy). This is not a shared house rate we only rent to one family/party at a time. If ordering less than 5 bedrooms we only close off the bedrooms that are not ordered. Less bathrooms available at 1 and 2 bedroom rate. Rates shown are accurate and are inclusive of the lodging tax. To keep our rates as low as possible only partial cleaning is included, we are not asking our guests to do a lot of work but please be sure to read through the house rules as we want every stay to be a wonderful experience.
*Suitability: Please note that this cabin is not suitable for small children or babies. We have a steep stairway with concerns that a child could fall through the railing upstairs and with the cabin being located so close to the river we worry that a child could fall into the river as the riverbank does not have any type of railings.
*Wedding Venue – Use of Grounds

No campers or RV's are permitted and ATV's must be kept on trailer at all times.
•Due to the remote location and distance to the volunteer fire department our insurance carrier has placed an occupancy restriction on our policy. We cannot have our policy put at risk so occupancy on the premises by additional persons, beyond the specified maximum, will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit and/or early termination of your rental period, without refund or rental fees paid.

•Telephones: The telephone long distance is not blocked so that guests that work on vacation can send faxes or make phone calls as cell phone coverage is limited in this area. Each guest is allotted 15 minutes for making long distance calls at no charge.
This place is spectacular. Wonderfully organized, super spacious and absolutely beautiful. My lady and I took an emergency vacation after a couple tough weeks at work- Lisa was extremely helpful even with a last-minute arrangement. Everything in the kitchen is labelled and inventoried which made meals quick and easy. Will definitely be booking this place again and bringing friends!
Beautiful home. Everything exactly as described and spotless. River access, outdoor fireplace, and hiking trails nearby were awesome. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Lisa!
Perfect peaceful retreat with amazing views of the woods and river and top-notch interior details and amenities
The River Ridge Lodge was amazing. The get away from Atlanta with my friends couldn't have been better.
Everything in the cabin was exquisite. From the media room, to the outdoor gazebo; to the balconies and the great room.
The large kitchen made entertaining a snap. Any kitchen tool a professional might need is available in a clean and well organized kitchen.
While playing horseshoes in the backyard we could wave to kayakers heading down the Toccoa River.
Awesome cabin and we all had a great time. Thanks!
We stayed for Valentine's day weekend and the cabin was wonderful. Gorgeous wood throughout and an awesome kitchen. I loved the pro-grade gas stove and oven! Everything in the house is luxurious and the view of the woods and river are beautiful.
There are a lot of rules to keep up with regarding housekeeping, but it's all pretty common-sense. Just clean up after yourself like you would in your own home.
I would definitely stay here again.
The riverfront cabin is absolutely gorgeous! We have recommended it to friends and family. The place was spotless and had everything you could ever imagine to use during your stay. Nice quiet location perfect for relaxation that's just a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We will definitely be back and also look forward to checking out their other vacation homes.
We had a great time staying at Lisa's cabin in Blue Ridge. They were extremely helpful from the moment we reached out to them about staying there till after we left. Their cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location is very secluded yet not too far from town. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

We were fortunate enough to discover Orcas Island back in 2003, it was then that we made the decision this was where we wanted to retire. In 2011 we made this a reality and focus on our vacation homes full time. We enjoy working on projects where we can find a ugly ducking of a house and turn it into a beautiful swan. My husband is incredibly handy so we can do all the work ourselves. We work well together as his talents combined with my passion for interior design makes for a winning team. Favorite hobbies are cooking, entertaining and sailing. Our children are very precious to us as we lost our youngest son a few years ago and now realize how important it is to to slow down and make time for family and friends. Everyday is Precious!
