The VERY BEST place to stay in Brooklyn! I can't imagine a nicer place than at Diana's and Joel's house. It's spacious, charming, very clean, the bathroom is exceptionally big, it feels like being at home (or even better). Diana and Joel are both extremely nice and very generous. I stayed at their house together with my two children for more than 2 weeks and feel so lucky and thankful for the chance of staying for a longer period of time at such a great place. My children and I loved the neighborhood, too - highly recommended, would love to return myself one day!
The rooms are very pleasant and the adjacent street is very quiet.
Commuting to Manhattan is direct but does take 40 odd minutes.
This is the second time we have stayed here and we were just as happy this time round! :)
Diana unfortunately was not in the country, however Marie-Louise (replacement host) was extremely lovely and accommodating making our experience that little bit nicer.
The location is perfect, right near shops in the funky Park Slopes suburb. We enjoyed being able to leave the city and retreat to a homely and safe suburb/environment.
We would definitely stay here again. :)
Lovely host, lovely home. Diana's place was just what we were looking for-clean, quiet, spacious rooms, great location. Diana is attentive and easy to communicate with. As we were walking up on check in day a neighbor said "have a great stay - Diana is the best". She was right!
Our stay at Diana's house was perfect. The location is super close to the subway and is in a great neighborhood. Great food and energy all around. We had such a great time. The room was spacious and comfortable. We hope to be back one day. Thanks again Diana:)

A wonderful stay! Diana was a lovely host. The room was just as described--spacious, quiet, and private. The neighborhood is beautiful with lots of great shops nearby. I would definitely recommend this space and if I return to Brooklyn I'd probably stay here again!
We felt very welcome there were fresh flowers on the table in the room and fresh fruit.
The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was wonderful, it actually consisted of two rooms, one with a toilet and sink, and another with a bath and two sinks, perfect for families.
"Checking in" was very easy, Diana and her husband were out but they had arranged for their housekeeper to meet us and give us the key and show us our room.
About the Host, Diana
Diana is a teaching artist in NY City's public schools and exhibits her contemporary quilts here and overseas. She and her husband have four grown children and grandchildren who drop in often. We love hosting and meeting people from all over the world.
