What a lovely host, in a beautiful house in a fabulous area. If you want home comfort away from home this is the place to go. Diana is so helpful, nothing is too much to ask. She is a mine of information and always on hand to help. The rooms are spacious and comfortable(the photograph on site does not do them justice)
Nothing phases Diana. We arrived away ahead of schedule - no bother!! We needed to leave our cases on departure - no bother! We had a hundred questions - no bother!!
It was a pure pleasure dealing with Diana and her lovely family. It is a really quiet home surrounded by lots of lovely little corner stores and lovely restaurants. Every amenity you could need is within striking distance. The rooms are spacious and the the little touches add so much like the fresh fruit, coffee/tea making facilities, the dishes for takeaways, the fridge, the lovely flowers in each room, the aircon and fans - everything just as required.
I would definitely stay again with Diana. Park Slope is beautiful
Lovely time at Diana ' s. She was accomadating and helpful and all amenities were as described. The brownstone is quite old and has the expected old house issues, but Diana does a good job maintaining it. Room was clean and comfy. It had a mini fridge ans coffee/tea stuff. Since theres no kitchen access, a microwave would have helped alot to reheat lefovers and breakfast food. Neighborhood is safe and quiet with resteraunts nearby. Perfect for a short visit.
Diana was great host. Very caring and reliable. Everything was as advertised. The place is quiet and we had an entire floor for us. The neighborhood is interesting and has a lot to offer.
The VERY BEST place to stay in Brooklyn! I can't imagine a nicer place than at Diana's and Joel's house. It's spacious, charming, very clean, the bathroom is exceptionally big, it feels like being at home (or even better). Diana and Joel are both extremely nice and very generous. I stayed at their house together with my two children for more than 2 weeks and feel so lucky and thankful for the chance of staying for a longer period of time at such a great place. My children and I loved the neighborhood, too - highly recommended, would love to return myself one day!
The rooms are very pleasant and the adjacent street is very quiet.
Commuting to Manhattan is direct but does take 40 odd minutes.
This is the second time we have stayed here and we were just as happy this time round! :)
Diana unfortunately was not in the country, however Marie-Louise (replacement host) was extremely lovely and accommodating making our experience that little bit nicer.
The location is perfect, right near shops in the funky Park Slopes suburb. We enjoyed being able to leave the city and retreat to a homely and safe suburb/environment.
We would definitely stay here again. :)
Lovely host, lovely home. Diana's place was just what we were looking for-clean, quiet, spacious rooms, great location. Diana is attentive and easy to communicate with. As we were walking up on check in day a neighbor said "have a great stay - Diana is the best". She was right!
About the Host, Diana
