I had a wonderful time staying at Diana's lovely brownstone. The neighborhood is beautiful in general, and this was the perfect place to stay while I was visiting my daughter who lives nearby. Diana can provide a lot of information about transportation and the neighborhood. The guest quarters have a private entrance and the bedroom and bathroom are impeccably clean, orderly and very private. There is a small fridge, tea kettle, dishes, various teas, fruit, water, etc. graciously provided by the hosts, and the bathroom has pretty much everything you would need except for personal toiletries. I felt right at home during my visit, and was very pleased to have found this place. I will definitely stay here again on future visits.
Even though we arrived later than we'd said, Diana's daughtrer stayed in touch and we still got a warm welcome.
The room and facilities were exactly as decscribed and we really felt like it was a home-from-home and was a relaxing place to be inbetween our escapades.
The family were attentive and friendly but in no way obtrusive and we very much felt like we had our own space.
I'd highly recommend staying here and we hope to see them next time we pop over to NY.
It was very pleasant to stay in Diana's home. The room is very quiet and the neighborhood is great !
The place is just what we needed, with a nice and comfortable room and two very big windows. A ten minute walking to the subway and surrounded by some very good restaurants. Diana and her husband are very helpful and friendly. They are willing to provide and print out tourist information. I would definitely love to go back again.
Diana is an absolute darling. Hospitable and gracious--without being at all overbearing--and very responsive. My room and bathroom were extremely clean and my bed very comfortable. I slept quite deeply under the warm down comforter each night! The neighborhood is lovely (possessing that iconic brownstone look) and I enjoyed the 10-min walk to the train station (I almost always took the 2 or 3) along trendy 5th Ave. Thank you, Diana, for a fabulous stay!
The building was a 1888 construction. Very nice detail throughout. Our room & bath were also very well kept. You feel very welcome here & like you were at your own home. We have no problem staying there again, & would recommend it to others. Very close to subway , buses, restaurants.
Diana was a very friendly, super-professional, interesting and accommodating host. The bedroom was sunny (as advertised) and clean, and the private bath was also clean and well-maintained. Her home is conveniently located in the heart of a fantastic residential neighborhood that has lots of funky (in a great way) little corners and restaurants to explore. I have absolutely no qualms whatsoever about recommending her home to anyone on AirBnB and will very likely stay there again the next time I'm headed to Brooklyn.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The accommodations were clean, tidy, and very comfortable. Our host made us feel so welcome! We had a very unusual schedule and were in and out a all hours without disturbing our lovely hosts. Park Slope is a fabulous area with great boutique shops and restaurants , not to be missed. Highly recommend this listing.
Diana is a very courteous, charming and hospitable hostess. She answered all emails quickly. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and the bed very comfortable. The bedroom in the photo is located in the front of the house where there can be street noise. If this is a problem there are two other quiet bedrooms in the back of the house facing the garden. The location of this bed and bath are excellent. Very close to restaurants, stores, and subways.
Diana and Joel's is definitely my'go-to' place in Park Slope. They are warm, engaging, professional, and very fine people. Their home is clean, comfortable, and on a quiet street just off Fifth Avenue.Very convenient to shops, food and subway. The room is large, the bed is comfortable and the shower is terrific. My partner and I were totally comfortable there and will definitely plan to return. I recommend this home to anyone who wants great comfort and convenience in the heart of Park Slope. We loved being there !!
