Bikes! Car (yours). We can possibly give you lift if it is on our way!
Polite and respectful as though you would have a guest be in your home. We keep our home excessively clean and would like no shoes on the floors and carpet when possible and food left and enjoyed in the dining areas, when possible. We also really like guests to keep their doors closed when they are in their suites so that we can have our privacy in our home. Thank you kindly for understanding.
Very responsive to questions and booking request. Although we didn't meet Marijana, her husband was very welcoming and friendly. Room very clean and welcoming. Only drawback is that we were only provided with hand-towels and washcloths, not regular size bath towels - but am sure this was just an oversight as the rest of the experience was great!!
Marijana and Steve were great to say the least. They are so welcoming and kind in sharing their home and helping make you feel at home during your stay. Their house is beautiful with such exquisite style on a remarkable property. I had a wonderful stay and will be continuing my stay with them for the next couple months for work. I highly recommend them!
Marijana was awesome! Very laid-back but very helpful at the same time. She was a wonderful hostess, and I highly recommend her. Her space is amazing. The room was very clean and inviting. The pond is gorgeous. She provided coffee and breakfast in the morning. I would stay again, without a doubt.

About the Host, Marijana
Artist, entrepreneur and permaculture student who likes travel and travelers and thoughtful, earth-conscious living and eating and being.
I am a happy, busy, creative, hard working and friendly host and I prefer guests who understand this and who have their own plans and are as self-sufficient as possible. Preparing for guests arrival takes quite a bit of time, actually, as I carefully launder and deep clean baths and room to ensure that your quarters are spotless, clean and aired. I therefore appreciate space and guests who keep their doors closed and their personal lives to themselves. We have so many guests, and after meditation I've realized that getting to know everyone is not possible for me as I have so many hats to wear and responsibilities to juggle, and I sincerely hope that guests understand this and respectfully decline to have long conversations with me without first enquiring if I have the time to do so. When you see our home you will understand that I have my hands full! I take care of all the work myself!
I love all people equally and understand a bit of quite a few languages. I lived in NYC for six years and Europe for 3 and I am European myself but total Earthling first. I'm a former New Yorker and English Teacher in Queens and first generation Americano, myself.
As a guest I am polite, intuitive and aware. I am a multi-cultural person and in-tune with international etiquette. I am humble, modest and above all, respectful. I do not demand to be made the center of attention. I can't wait to travel with air bnb internationally, having been a host for 2 years now in Ohio, which is nice in many ways but so limited in so many others.
