The space
Where rustic charm meets modern elegance, our Barndominium accommodations offer a one-of-a-kind retreat inspired by the timeless beauty of traditional Amish tobacco barns. Thoughtfully adorned with chic antiques and refined furnishings, the space effortlessly blends character and modern comfort. Vaulted ceilings create a sense of airy wonder, while the cozy warmth of a fireplace beckons you to unwind. Step out onto the terrace to soak in sweeping countryside views, immersing yourself in the peaceful sights and sounds of nature's idyllic embrace.

Guest access
The Barndominium accommodations are entirely private for our guests, featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and an open-concept kitchen and living area. It accommodates up to 10 guests maximum, with additional fees applying for groups larger than 8, including children.

Guests will also enjoy direct access to the Harpeth River and recreational use of the farmland behind the Barndominium—perfect for exploring and unwinding in nature.

Our Barndominium shares a wall with our open-air barn and event space, which is not private and may be used by property owners or property managers during your stay.

Other things to note
Our standard nightly rate does not cover events such as showers, parties, weddings, retreats, and/or business gatherings.

If you're interested in hosting an event or gathering beyond standard accommodation, please inquire about additional pricing. All event inquiries, including showers, retreats, parties, and other gatherings, must be approved prior to booking and will incur additional rates and fees.

Doug, a native Texan with deep Mississippi roots and Lisa, a native Nashvillian bring the craft of fine building, the art of design and long family traditions of warm hospitality together. • Inspired by fond memories of long summer days on Papa & Kaka’s Farm in Mississippi and the hard work of Texas ranching, Doug brought a bit of both to the banks of the Harpeth River. • Lisa's fondest memories are of bare feet in earthy gardens and the sweet-scented cool of the tobacco barn in Carthage, TN. Evening fell in a deep slumber nested in the attic feathor bed with a belly full of Southern goodness. • The Barn at Idyll-By-The-River Farm in Franklin TN is a collection and storehouse of these memories and the hope that stories are being made there that the next generations will tell with the same fondness.
