Well, what can I say, it's a shipping container that's been fitted out for clean and affordable accommodation. Conveniently located and secured within a tropical fruit farm, approximately 29 km south from Coolalinga, each unit (I have 2!) is fully air-conditioned with utilities (electricity and hot water).

*Note* Each cabin has 1 king single bed. If 2 guests, then each guest can optionally have their own cabin (located beside each other) for an additional $10.

The space
My farm is on 200 acres, with approximately 40 acres of mango trees. There's plenty of other tropical fruit trees on the site, and you're welcome to explore during your stay.

Guest access
You are free to explore within the fenced boundary of the property, except within the goat enclosure, unless I'm there to supervise you. More than happy for you to participate in feeding the animals during their meal times, usually in the morning and evening.

Other things to note
During the mango picking season (September and October) there will be seasonal workers working on the property during the day. Plenty of mangos to go round during this period! There are hens, roosters, guinea fowls and peacocks that free range around for food with their unique noises.

Berry Springs is a fair distance from Darwin, but worth the drive if you like sparsely populated areas and natural bushland with its wildlife, such as wallabies, whistling ducks and parrots.

I'm a retired lawyer, who always loved the outdoors and my garden. You'll find me tending to my fruit trees and farm animals when its cooler, and when it's too hot, I retreat indoors to catch up on TV shows.

During your stay
I live on the farm in my own accommodation nearby, but I give my guests their privacy. I'll more than likely be watering my garden and fruit trees and feeding my animals.
